A Kaleidoscope of Fools

There is nothing normal about the conversations going on concerning Trump’s cabinet nominations. The Republican vote ought to be a given. Convincing some of the Democrats is supposed to be the play. Despite the kaleidoscope of fools in the Biden Administration, there was nothing like this sort of pushback from the Republicans at the time, though the people ridiculed people like Buttigieg and railed at naming Merrick Garland at the head of the DOJ.

The Senate is merely supposed to give its collective advice and then consent. They have taken this to mean that they have some say in the president’s selections, but that’s not the case. In fact, under Biden, these roles have grown to such power that they should actually be elected posts. The people have a particular stake in who is the at the Department of Justice as it has been directed at the people themselves. They certainly should have a say in who’s the head of Health and Human Services, since corporations, with this department looking the other way, have chosen to allow poisonous ingredients into the food supply that benefit the manufacturer by lowering costs and using chemicals to keep products looking fresh before purchase. If the people would have been able to recall someone like Fauci, they might have done so. Since, however, our current system doesn’t allow for that, the people should have a larger say in their nomination and subsequent confirmation than rogue senators seeking to leverage their acquiescence for future chairmanships or a greater share of senate campaign funds.

It’s clear that the Senate has little regard for the opinions of the people. This is how powerful senators like McConnell and Thune can go against the desires of their constituents in order to play power politics in the nation’s capitol. The six year term relieves them of consideration of the will of the people for four years before they have to start campaigning again and then toss out some bread crumbs to the peasants. This year, however, senators who are up for re-election in 2026 are defying their constituents by refusing to vote for Trump’s cabinet picks or making hay for the Democrats by defaming them. We’ll see what consequences will be suffered for that sort of behavior in two years. It should be profound.

From 2020 on, the American people have suffered under communist rule. People like Mayorkas and Garland repeatedly and enthusiastically defied the will of the people, refusing to close the border and enforce immigration laws, but for that period of time, no matter how overwhelmingly the people begged for their removal, there was no action to discipline them or moderate their stances. Some of that was party politics, but as much of it was indicative of uniparty bolshevism. The RINOs are on the side of the government against the will of the people. It acts as a repudiation of democracy, while claiming to serve democracy, but what they mean by “democracy” is the institutions they, themselves, control.

The people have witnessed and suffered from a bureaucratic dictatorship, where senators and representatives hide behind regulations made by government agencies that act as laws. In a lot of cases, these agencies and bureaus can make laws, enforce them and punish violators no matter how ridiculous and illogical the regulations might be, all without ever going to court or submitting to due process.

It’s all sort of a conditioning toward acceptance of communism. Countermanding the will of the people accomplishes the same thing. The people themselves are powerless against unjust laws and regulations and grow accustomed to bureaucratic rule as a pretext to accepting a communist state within a republican form. As has been expressed many times, people can vote for whoever they want, but once that candidate attains office, the government takes control of their voice and uses it to reflect the desires of government back to the people, pretending that they’ve given acquiescence to it.

I don’t claim to know the future and while there are some points to be made about the softness and fidelity to Israel that Trump exudes, there are a lot more important issues before the government concerning the redesign and elimination of federal agencies and bureaucracies that I’m interested in seeing, not just for the sense of liberty it might provide, but for the economic realities of funding such a huge and largely unaccountable system of government. I’m not all that interested in what Trump does as president, himself, but that of those being placed in control of certain areas. I’m no Pam Bondi fan, either, but who will be named as deputies or Assistant AGs and how they will work with congress to achieve some things that are not only necessary to the republic and the rule of law, but also to deflate this monstrous dirigible headed for disaster of several different kinds.

There may be no saving the republic and if I had my preference, I’d still go about the reconstruction of the whole thing into regional states or confederations, but given the time and place as it is, wishes being irrelevant, there are opportunities to do some good here. I doubt, for one thing, that riots inspired by BLM and Antifa will enjoy the protection they once did under William Barr and the crooks at the DOJ during Trump’s last term.

The war remains a digital one and I know a lot of people think that this is all another psyop to entertain the masses, but there are high demands the people who voted for Trump expect and the MSM might be able to spin MAGA or America First as cults who will follow Trump in to the depths of hell, but that really doesn’t exist. The people who started the Tea Party so long ago have been joined by a bunch of other victims of communism to form a solid voting bloc, who chose Trump to head it, but all he did was consolidate the frustration and years of trying to work through the system. He did not create the movement, the movement adopted him as a spokesman and when he ceases to respond, they have been, and will be, very critical of that abandonment. This has already been demonstrated when it came to the appointment of Chad Chronister to head DEA. The people themselves rebuked Chronister and called out Trump for the appointment, whereupon, that nomination was rescinded, but Trump allowed Chronister to withdraw for optic’s sake. It will happen again, if his appointments fail the will of the people.

I’m not the only one willing to give this system one last chance to straighten up. Any failure of Trump to live up to his domestic agenda of reconstruction will be cause for the people behind him to abandon him as quickly as they did Pence. This is not to say that any failure will be seized upon, because the people want what he offers, but they will no longer be denied the justice they deserve.

That puts those who have become the media, the large social media accounts and podcasters, along with AM radio hosts, to hold Trump’s cabinet to account. Forget what MSM has to say, they’ll be whining and crying at every success, but they’ve exceeded their benefit of the doubt by nearly a quarter of a century and it’s time for them to be put down like a blind, ailing dog.
