Yes. "No country for Old Men". As an 83 year old I can relate to that. I'm certainly not the US Army infantryman I was 65 years ago. But there's no denying that we've brought this on ourselves by our reluctance to act. Sometimes violence is the answer, and that's long been our only remotely possible way out of this. It's coming one way or another. We're on the verge of a new technological revolution, and at the same time on the verge of a new dark age. Interesting times.

Yes, T.L. For me the past was far more simple.

Growing up in a town of 289 in Texas Hill Country, life was simple and without learned biases. The old days…riding billy goats for excitement as a kid.

And today? I’m circling the wagons. My world view is now a driveway view.
