I have a few thoughts. I think AI is much like Clippy in MS Word offering to help. An answer to a problem no one had.

The AI data center stuff is a bubble. I think it will be worse than when the dot com crash happened.

Why do I say it's a bubble? Because the hardware constantly improves. For example, I had a friend that worked for SWB as a switchman. The building wasn't big, maybe 30x50 feet. Full of the old really cool to watch mechanical switches. Noisy. Fascinating. All that went away with 5ESS switches and all you heard was fans. The entire office of hardware could now fit into a 12x12 room.

Look at it another way. Remember your first PC? An 8086 or a 286? Pretty snazzy stuff. Now your cell phone does all of that and more. I think AI data centers are going to go the same way.

Well. The dogs are getting antsy for bedtime potty walk.
