Senate Republicans either voted with the Demoncrats or didn’t vote at all in order to kill the SAVE Act.
In face of the overwhelming majority of voters supporting the act, they all said “f**k you” to their constituents.
I am voting for Ken Paxton in the TX Senate runoff in hope that slimy Coryn will be defeated. As far as the general election goes, I’m not sure it even matters if a Democrat wins since the Republicans are mostly voting along with them anyway.
I'm with Paxton as well. Everyone else in the Republican party has already committed suicide. I bet the thread snaps before the election in November anyway.
I have disdain to the hilt along with revulsion and utter complete disgust. For anyone who thinks chemically and surgically changing the sex of a minor is right, bringing in millions of illegal aliens, diversity is strength, lgbt is good, all cultures are equal, DEI, CRT, PC, women are men and men are women and much more. People who call names bigot, racist, homophobe, islamophobe anti semite ( anti semite is a reference to even being mildly critical of jews or israel) and on and on. I'm done.

Wilson, I think we've always been ruled by crooks, especially between about 1845 and the present. But, I stand with you completely. I've served this country under every President from Carter on, and I'm completely sick of what I'm seeing. The left is a bunch of whining little brats, and the GOP won't fight back, but with very few exceptions. The Dems lost any credit I could ever give them (and that ain't much) during SOTU. I'm afraid my disdain will soon transition to out n out hostility toward them. I'm sick of the gaslighting, the name calling, the lies, and worst of all, how they project their transgressions agains the right. Sad. But have faith that we will ultimately prevail.
Good post. You will probably not agree with what I'm going to say. I don't care for either wing of the same vulture. Years ago I went to a gathering at a friend's house (we were in the same unit). His dad was there, he was around the same age as I am now. A presidential election year and I was holding forth for the republican. His dad said they're all crooks and liars and are only interested in power and wealth. Or words to that effect. I now see that he was right and I was naive. Of course the GOP won't "fight back" they're all in on the grift.
I’m in Georgia and there appears to be no decent candidate for any of the state offices. And, if there were, they would probably be compromised anyway. So, except for the sheriff’s office or my counties commission, I’m done playing the voting game. It’s been proven to me that it is a corrupt system that no one is fixing.
Two quotes, and something like these may be the choices we are left with:
“Still, if you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed, if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not so costly, you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance for survival.
There may be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no chance of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”
~ Sir Winston Churchill
"We are born into this time and must bravely follow the path to the destined end. There is no other way. Our duty is to hold on to the lost position, without hope, without rescue, like that Roman soldier whose bones were found in front of a door in Pompeii, who, during the eruption of Vesuvius, died at his post because they forgot to relieve him. That is greatness. That is what it means to be a thoroughbred. The honorable end is the one thing that cannot be taken from a man."
If we can’t even get the SAVE Act passed with a trifecta majority, it seems voting is an exercise in futility. This is a truly horrendous reality because the right to vote and have it counted (not canceled by an illegal voting, a stolen election, election theft, or any other measure of unfair elections) is a hallmark of our constitutional republic. I shudder to think what could happen…
Can anybody tell me why the Republicans won't fight? I think we should take the time to identify the causes of their timidity and clobber every candidate in this cycle by asking them specifically what they're going to do to fight what T.L. So aptly described. Time to call em' out. The other question I would ask EVERY candidate, "What are you going to do to keep your hands out of my pockets?" THEN, IT'S FEET TO THE FIRE!

Well T.L., It's a gittin' near time I expect. One can only be nice for so long, or until you can't!
I'm there. I have only disdain left.

Deguello time, folks. No mercy. No remorse. No prisoners.
Another beautiful read. I’ve planned accordingly T.L. Circling the wagons.

Well-done Mr. Davis! I know what you mean about slimy, greasy, lying politicians. I'm dealing with Lindsey Graham in South Carolina.
