If you liked the lockdowns, with all of its crazy inconsistencies, the punishment of the right; the accommodation of the leftists; the illegal, immoral and big, red, middle-finger to the constitution and your rights, that was just the scenes of coming attractions. As I’ve stated before, it was a test; we failed, now we deal with the messages it sent.
A great piece by the Baron at Gates of Vienna, spells it out. Do you really think that failing gun control, the communists were just going to shrug and go away? What extent they achieved to limit gun ownership got obliterated after the Summer of Love put on by Antifa and BLM in Portland and Seattle. It scared the suburban moms and dads and that pretty well crushed gun control as a leftist tactic, because a lot of those people suddenly realized the value of violent self-defense.
Having failed to achieve disarmament of the populace and simultaneously creating a demand for guns, they put their efforts into making those weapons irrelevant. Meanwhile, those who envision a target-rich environment in the dystopian future have misunderstood that if they can’t convince you, they will poison you. If you get wise to that, they’ll create a world where your money is leverage against behavior. All of it to bypass personal choice, decision, rationale, discernment. You voted against gun control measure 666 in the last election? Now you can’t use your globalist coin to buy ammo, or even cleaning kits. You’re persona non-grata.
As the Baron points out, they’re already tracking your every step with your phone, where you go, what other phones you communicate with, what’s said during those calls, or visits, record your email, shut you up in your home for two weeks (not that many of us complied) and you did nothing but ask what you have to do to comply some more.
That’s the past, the test has been taken, the outcome is a benchmark of not only human willingness to cooperate, but the brutality to which the masters are only too happy to punish, starve, poison to get their way.
In Lies of Omission, Mike Vanderboegh described the initial formation of the militia movement as a response to the real message of Catch 22, which is the government stating that “We can do anything you can’t stop us from doing.” Mike’s point was that the militia movement was this response: “Okay, what do we have to do to stop them?”
This is the future they have planned for you. They’re flooding your southern border with people who are compliant to the governmental structure and/or hostile to America and Americans as a buffer against themselves and their evil deeds. They’re being paid for by your Covid Relief bills passed in Congress so that they will side with the government rather than the rich, fat, American people when the hostilities start, if they do, and they’ll be there to suck all of your income taxes if they don’t. You will be working for those people coming across the border today, paying them more than you can afford to keep for yourself, money that will become more and more useless as the years roll on. If you try to do anything about it, they’ll isolate you in your soon-to-be foreclosed home until such foreclosure can be affected.
What say you now? Eff them? What does that mean? When does it start? How does it start? Can you start “effing them” now, or will it take future and more significant beatings? Just curious.
The founding fathers gathered in pubs, taverns and churches. I reached out to one of the locals I’ve gotten to know and whom I like quite a bit and told him simply, “I have problems with the laws.” It set him back a step or two. “What did I mean?” I explained the “domestic terrorist” designation for anyone speaking out at school board meetings and the like, speaking out against children being indoctrinated into the gay agenda and CRT. He just left. It was an uncomfortable realization to have to acknowledge it and he just walked out. He’s not mad at me, we’ve talked since, but that was his response on that day.
How are we going to win, if we’re never going to fight? What I mean by that is fighting the right way, not with clubs and flamethrowers, though that may come, but effectively today?
Here we are, day 300, 400 or 500 of the descent into the extralegal, bloodless coup against our system by domestic enemies of the constitutional republic. We’ve suffered outrageous acts from Disney on down to school board meeting arrests and many are still trying to figure out the “target-rich” environment and I’m one that believes we need to start figuring out a smarter way to fight. They saw that one coming.
The great reset is upon us. Now what? I’m the town crier of yesteryear, “the globalists are coming!” There is no protest that will solve this. There is no vote that will solve it. The only thing that will work now is some form of absolute civil disobedience. The weapons will only allow them to get more vicious, a thing, as you’ve seen, they do well. Why give them that excuse? Is that the only possible solution? I know it’s the one our side understands best, but greater thought needs to be administered. Old Edward Abbey had it right, except that his enemy is not mine, the monkey wrench needs to be thrown into the system that intends to use the money, your money, to blackmail you into compliance. Whatever it is, wherever it is, it needs to be broken.
The truth is, we’re seeing this level of tyranny in direct proportion to their fear of our response. Tyranny originates in fear and intensifies as they continue to gore sacred cows. Each step of tighter controls affect new and different people and agendas in ways they hadn’t considered. This is why there’s such inconsistency. When they try to hurt the people with mask mandates, it eventually gets to someone they care about, like sports figures, and they irrationally and inexplicably grant an exception during the game they want to watch. Those who make the rules, make the exceptions. It’s the antithesis of the rule of law under which all men suffer equally. They need to be made to suffer equally with you.
Tyranny exists only where it's tolerated. Our problem isn't the tyrants, but those who are too willing to tolerate them. In a democracy, the majority gets to decide what's tolerable. The last election was close, and gave the tyrants a sufficient majority that they get to decide our level of tyranny. If the minority resists, they'll probably lose. We need to convince a few more to join the current minority to regain the majority. It looks like we will in November. Then we need to focus on retaining and extending the majority.
There are tactics available to help convince the supporters of the majority to flip sides. They're probably not needed for November. I saw Steve Deace recently describing a meeting with Newt Gingrich years ago, where Newt said we're not polarized, which is where the sides disagree on opposite views. Newt says we are Balkanized, where the sides are fundamentally, irreconcilably opposed. We'll find out next year if he's right. The Twitter anguish indicates some of them are Balkanized, so we'll probably need some aggressive responses for at least some of them.
TL, nothing short of armed rebellion is going to suffice.
