I’ve been struggling with writing something on the attempted assassination of Trump, because there is so much false and misleading information about it and everyone seems to to be shouting into the ether their wildest theories. That and I’d just written a post about the Insurrectionist Left that seemed to cover how and why some leftist would feel, and be emboldened in the feeling, that it was necessary to try and take out “literally Hitler” to save democracy. All of these rationalizations have been made by primetime “news” anchors on the pathetically leftist networks for several years, but especially since Trump decided to run for election in 2024, after they thought they had vanquished him in 2020.
Add to that a string of anti-administrative state Supreme Court rulings reining in the ability for executive branch agencies to write and prosecute their own laws outside of the judicial system, a most communist way of looking at bureaucracy, and the immunity case for Trump being decided in his (and all presidents) favor when the rhetorical bombs went off in the increasingly high-pitched whining of national “news” programs and it sounds literally like they have commenced a chant that Trump must be eliminated for weeks before the assassination attempt. If that isn’t inciting violence, I’m not sure what qualifies, but it’s close. I’m not one for censoring or banning, but if I had done what most of the major networks have allowed their mouthpieces to do over the past few weeks culminating in an assassination attempt, I would be expecting the law to show up at my door.
Most readers of this blog for any length of time are aware that I walk a pretty thin line, but I do stay on the legal side of it out of respect for the law I agree with, which is I have a right to say whatever I want unless it is designed to instigate violence against a specific person or group.
As far as the actual assassination attempt goes, that’s almost impossible to decipher from the multitudes of information being batted back and forth between supporters and enemies. What we do know is that the Supreme Court ruled that Trump had immunity for most all the crimes he is supposed to have committed surrounding the 2020 election. That, to the Insurrectionist Left, is anathema and they began immediately begging Biden to assassinate Trump as something that would be done with immunity. A few days later, there is an actual assassination attempt.
The peripheral accusations that Austin Private Wealth, LLC shorted the Trump Media (DJT) stock to the tune of 12 million shares has now been refuted as a “filing error.” Not that it didn’t happen, but that an erroneous multiplier had been used to conflate a 1,200 share short to a 12,000,000 share short. It still smells of a cover-up rather than a mistake to me, in my opinion, but neither I, nor anyone else has any facts as to which it was. I will say that I am accustomed to the ability of the powerful to manipulate information and get accommodations no one else would get to make the impossible possible.
In assessing the information given now, several days later, it’s still clear that short Secret Service agents should not try to protect a 6’ 4” president or former president, it just doesn’t work the way it should. Using temporary employees doesn’t work as well as a dedicated Secret Service detail would. Using local police who don’t understand that taking the shot on a guy crawling along the top of a building with a rifle is accepted without authorization might help. Leaving a building with a clear line of sight to the subject of concern with a ladder to the roof and however “slopey” the roof might be, ensuring that counter snipers are there to deter the use of the rooftop by a 20 year old amateur is probably a no-no. I would think any qualified “Director of the Secret Service” would know that out of hand, but apparently we accept a much diminished sense of service than we used to.
These are just a few of the failures, or features, of what is shaping up more and more as an inside job from any number of government or other actors that might be interested in eliminating “literally Hitler.” By the rhetoric, it is completely understandable and that’s why this rhetoric proliferating among members of the national “media” and congressmen and women must result in heavy penalties.
If this post seems uncharacteristically calm, it is not that. It is simply the fact that I know these things must happen. The very worst of conditions that Americans can suffer must be suffered. All comfort must be destroyed for the people themselves to understand the import of all we have suffered since the illegitimate Obama Administration, a person who was not eligible to be president. Neither is Kamala, but it doesn’t matter the American people demand to be put into the worst possible condition in order to reclaim their power. The years of tyranny suffered by the founders, the deprivations endured, the insults and punishments grew and grew until literally unbearable before they took the most rudimentary actions toward revolution. And so, it still is. I await the company of my countrymen and women when they have finally had enough. I already have. Trust me, it will get louder and it will get worse.

I couldn't agree more, T.L. Most have not been walked on enough to say I'm through. A literal Michael Douglas movie Falling Down Moment! When they have to look into the eyes of their wives and children and say I'm sorry that you are cold, I'm sorry that you are hungry, then a shift will occur. We remain too comfortable. The ****show ain't even begun yet. Those in power, the lever pullers, will not give up easily. For many it will be retribution and prison time.
T.L.'s last paragraph is right on the money. As my Mom told me years ago, "Americans will have to go hungry to get them off the couch to change things."
