No, tyrants and busy-bodies at all levels are our enemy. The old saying "Nits grow into lice" applies. A petty tyrant on the city council is a Biden in the making. It's why local politics are so important.
Say what you will, but democracy or representative government is a total failure. It simply does not work, it ALWAYS devolves to some form of what we see now. I've always been a monarchist, but I think history will support me in proving that our present form of government is not only a failure, but a disaster. I suppose what we need is an Augustus or some such equivalent. I have to say, being something of a history buff, that I never have read of a king or other sovereign welcoming in foreigners of a different race, religion, and culture to deliberately destroy the native population. Maybe what we need is a Vlad Bassarb.
Yes. There are several such illusory truths that must pass into history.
A lot can be said about the prog death cult and its variants as it relates to the great decline of this city on the hill, but what gets ignored is that democracy and its undoing crawled out of the same primordial soup on its Enlightened belly.
The men that conjured it with alchemy were brilliant for it served its purpose with elegance beyond the time and place of its original necessity. But they understood the nature of their ouroboros.
The head of don't tread on me was inseparable from its trail, as it was designed to both define - and defy human nature in this precarious act of self-determination. The great paradox of man escaping his nature by way of his "natural rights."
A transcendence that required God and his universal moral framework to guide a People into the unknown. But in doing so, impregnated the entire premise with the serpent of its own destruction. As man is wont to become his own God. As is the way of every attempt to make a Garden on Earth.
While self-determination might seem to be a low pedestal, it rises over time. Each generation smarter than the previous will add their scaffolds without full regard for what was made beneath and for what purpose. Soon enough their heads are in the clouds, mistaking their height for the heavens.
Those early men and many who came later understood this far better than we - and not just because those colonies were stitched together in that time by compromise and backroom dealings, but because both learned men in powdered wigs and the pig farmers on the American frontier understood that the price of posterity is their own impermanence.
"Our Democracy" and "Our Greatest Strength" are now both sacred beyond reproach.
A Nation, no longer a People but an empty husk, to be filled with individual want and identity; economic chattel of the new world that we will build in the cloud. Thrust by a moral imperative for making what's left of those original People into something else, anything else, as long as it is increasingly distant from those who architected that foundation for their posterity.
These new myths of our foundation go without saying - except that for some reason we must all keep repeating the mantras as to not anger our new kings of commerce. Who apparently love us now that we can all agree on blankness of our slates.
Already a more perfect union has been transformed through mass bloodletting in order to break the spirit of the wrong kind of self-determination and voluntary association in order to enshrine a better kind of economic bondage that we shall never deadname slavery.
The show must go on because the people demand it to go on. Dems and republicans. Ships of fools with their cargo cults colliding. One drunk on end-of-history hubris, the other high on the cloud utopia that requires the destruction of the scaffolding underfoot.
It's easy to forget, for most never even learned, the history of our Founders being colonists of an empire who set out to break from the monarchy, knowing full well not just the imperfections of their plans, but that what they left their posterity was not just a Democracy, or a Union of States, but rather the courage and conviction and moral fiber to cut a nation for their own People out of some future frontier.
At this point, I hope for Balkanization, I see no other way to save our people at this point. Let the left have the East and West Coasts, they're hopeless, we get the middle from the Great Lakes to the Gulf. May sound like an impossible dream, but history is full of sudden surprises, too.
I agree, but I think we're going to be getting all that anyway, so why not at least get something positive out of it? Right now, Whites really have nowhere to run any more, we've been driven out of the cities and the suburbs are going fast. Where next? Our people have a very, very uncertain future now, take a gander at South Africa, or even Europe, you think things are going well there for Whites? The most violent, ignorant, and depraved invaders are being flooded into White countries, what do you think will happen eventually. Look up the Mau Mau rebellion. Over 70,000 Whites in SA have already been tortured to death, and that figure is from several years ago. And it's not only White men killed in SA, it's young White women raped and their bodies ripped open and left to die slowly, it's White baby boys put into pots of boiling water, it's White baby girls nailed to tables and raped to death.
The balkanization is here already. The long war goes on, largely unnoticed.
It's just that Whites have been so thoroughly conditioned for so long that we don't see the fullness of our dispossession, atomization, and submission to the false morality.
We are still talking about poems on that statue in the Hudson while the invaders are running entire towns. Including the one of my youth.
But hey, Yellowstone went back to the natives. Thats just Who We Are.
So, the necessity of internalizing that balkanization and acting accordingly has yet to emerge. Our captors appear to be trying to thread that needle. To not let that notion take root, but to harness the discontent and feed it into Tesla batteries to power their global technocracy.
In this effort, they will need something to compel us. But not something that causes us to slip their leash. Tricky.
Meanwhile, we are busy gaslighting ourselves. The machine barely spins at this point. We are so thirsty for heroes and solutions to the last-mile problems of our precious progress that we do it to ourselves because that is more comfortable than confronting the truth.
The laptop americans I know are over the moon with the greatness of this current phase. They are off the hook. They needn't consider changing anything about their lives. Just a few tweaks to their portfolios.
"Elon Musk". DOGE. T2.0. "Government Waste". We are winning so hard right now it's hard to keep up. The memes make themselves.
Wait, are you still concerned about a future for your White children? That seems a little, I don't know, racist.
We should be concerned about all Americans. You know, everyone with proper paperwork.
About the last 70 years. Just terrible. So here's $5k. Go get yourself something real nice. Maybe your boy gaming in the basement wants to join the Army? Pete's a great guy. He doesn't want your son to be some queer. Duty. Honor. Sacrifice.
Many feel it. Notice the patterns. See the strings. Intuitively we know what's wrong.
But it is still very costly to vote with your dollars. Your feet. To withhold your labor from the worst of the beast. Ask me how I know. But that is what is required. It has always been this way. We are not that special. Nor is this time, this cycle, that special.
When the pressure builds, we are always given an out. Sometimes war. Sometimes We Are All in This Together. Here we go again.
All those people angry over the '08 too big to fail bank bailouts are now pulling for the biggest ponzi in the universe to keep going because FUSA is too big to fail. The problem of scale is more scale.
So, they roll back the worst of the DEI. Troons in bathrooms. Make the Navy less gay. Flood the discourse with economic arguments. Bowtie policy wonks debating how to best keep the machine spinning. Abstract ideals. Romantic Futurism. Technocracy. "AI".
Anything and everything except the one thing that matters.
And all that fledgling awareness is fed back into the system. And the people cheer. The premise remains intact. The lies remain. All prior gains but the most egregious and absurd are now entrenched, codified.
And another generation is swallowed whole.
You get old enough and you know a roll-up when you see it. This does not make you popular at the church bbq. So, I just keep working.
We will one day look back at thank God we were brave enough to save girls swimming. That should be enough to carry us through the dark times.
There is so much theft, fraud, waste, and payments to terrorists and foreign countries, that America would be running a surplus if they were eliminated..We are talking trillions in SS, Medicare/Medicaid, the Dept of mis-Education, and the Pentagon...But of course, the DC parasites got wealthy promoting this fraud and waste...Trump cannot cave in on the budget...No budget is far better than the existing one....
Another thing to keep in mind is that even if Trump does everything he has promised, everything, the next election can erase every bit of it. All it needs is a Newsom or Whitmer and it's gone.
The biggest threats to liberty and freedom work in the halls of Congress. Their armed forces reside in various departments of the executive branch. There is no true two parties, just two sides of the same coin.
The “great American experiment” failed and has been in its death throes for decades. At this point it’s just a waiting period for the host to cease to exist and the parasites who killed it to burst forth to kill the citizens.
A lot of the progressivism we live with today had its roots in 1913. Our Constitutional Republic worked pretty well until then, even with the Civil War.
Sadly TL, I think you are correct. While I have high hopes for the DJT administration, I'm not blind to the past. I've heard the song before, starting with Ronald Reagan. I had similar hope for a dose of reality after the 9/11 attack, but that too was just another excuse for more of the same. For the last 20 years I've been of the opinion the only thing that has a chance of changing the nation's course is a truly major catastrophe. Something so disastrous that a change in course is the only option. My personal guess is a financial collapse, but there could be multiple events which cascade into one another. It could be war, financial collapse, terror attack, scamdemic/real pandemic, or all of the above... and/or some not mentioned. Only when the excrement has truly hit the air impeller (maybe with some rope and lamp posts involved), will there be the come-to-Jesus moment we need. I hope I live to see it, and I'd like to live through it, but I've wished for decades it had come before my kids grew up. Now I wish this for my grandkids.
“If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace; and this single reflection, well applied, is sufficient to awaken every man to duty.”
"D.C. is the enemy."

Yep, the smaller the better...
I agree completely.
Yes. There are several such illusory truths that must pass into history.

The only one question about forming such a continent. How much blood, treasure and horror will it take to get there?
