The "All" Americans
Why the disinformation war will start a real one. If the only thing that separates one charge of authoritarianism, tyranny and oppression from another is a political party, you have a nation on the verge of civil war. When political lines are so clearly defined, threats so clearly made, there can be only one outcome. Everything the left charges Trump with doing has been done by Biden in total silence, at least from the left. So, it isn’t so much that those actions by a president are bad. What makes it good, or bad, is whether a Democrat or Republican did it.
There’s a few things I don’t support Trump in doing, but I’m adult enough to know that one doesn’t get very much out of a political candidate. Closing the border was enough for me. I’d like it if he were to actually deport as many as he can, but I recognize he’s being fought by the courts and the federal bureaucrats that still occupy certain offices in the government, some of them have been protected from being fired by the same corrupt judges blocking most of Trump’s policies.
I think Trump’s focus is on a legacy this time around and less on the problems he promised to solve. Any promise from any politician comes with an expiration date and that can be defined as plus two minutes. Some continue to promise the same things after 40 years in office, things they just couldn’t push across the finish line. It’s all nonsense, take what you can get from any of them, but have a plan to solve your own problems.
I was talking to a studio owner in West Palm Beach the other day and he asked what the film was about. I said: “Well, freedom. That’s all we care about. It doesn’t matter which party is limiting or quashing freedom. I don’t agree with it when it’s from the right and disagree with it when it’s from the left. I always disagree with a loss of freedom: physically, electronically or intellectually.” He seemed enthusiastic about it, but I wondered how much of it he agreed with knowing that our definitions of these words might not be the same. The rhetoric now is almost identical, but it means something different when Trump is in office, versus when Biden or Obama is in office. The intellectual dishonesty is staggering.
By their definition, I find I am a fascist, an Islamophobe, etc. By my definition, I am a republican, who believes, no matter who is in power that individual rights and freedoms unleash an economic tidal wave that lifts all boats, while crashing a few; a few that cannot stand on their own merit, but need constant public funds to support it. I’m not talking about the arts, they’ve always needed some sort of support. In the old days that used to be a Count or Lord or some such nobility, or church to enable them to create works of art or literature.
My life has been split between doing the hard work, the dangerous work, in the oil field, drilling wells. I did it, because I liked it. I craved the danger as well as the demanding conditions that forced one to overcome all adversity with the tools at hand, or fail miserably, perhaps die in the attempt. I count my pride of success in those days in fingers. I have all ten (including thumbs for those technical minds out there). That’s success as I worked through the 80s and 90s. Again in the 2010s, but it was a different oil field then.
The other times, when the rigs were down along with the price of oil, I turned to my creative side and worked on that until the price of oil increased and we all went back to work. I was, in essence, subsidizing myself. There’s nothing wrong with that.
One political party funding, at taxpayer expense, riots and protests, such as the No Kings II protests this past weekend, is a violation of trust, it’s treason and just bad politics. It suggests that it cannot appeal to reason to institute policies, but must rely on optics, defamation and force. To then say that they are anti-fascist, is to admit they don’t know the definition of fascism and don’t care. For the communists, whether in Germany, the Soviet Union or during the Spanish Civil War, all of their enemies are fascist, regardless of definitions.
I understand that, as a writer, words mean more to me than the average person on social media. I rely on words to communicate, where the whole world, it seems, relies on memes, AI images and videos that can make anything happen, put words in anyone’s mouth and show them for something they absolutely are not.
That’s the challenge of an AI world. One must dismiss all they see, narrowing the world from what one might witness via video and what they know to be true from experience.
One thing I caught in all of this government shutdown nonsense was the use of the term “American citizens.” When the Democrats/communists use that term, they mean all of America: North, Central and South America. It’s this deception that they have perfected: it’s what they always rely on to get what they want. In a nation specifically designed to value the truth, it can no longer be found. Maybe it’s an illusory term: The Truth. Two witnesses of any event will give a different account, seeing the same thing from different perspectives.
One must be dedicated to the truth as they know it. One is not lying because they believe something that isn’t true. They do have an obligation to try and find the truth before they repeat it, but most don’t. I do and I’m still not sure most of the time. Who knows what facts make up the truth in a society dedicated to stretching the truth and fabricating facts? From the first snake oil salesman to now, it’s all a jumble of deception.
That’s what appealed to me about the oil field, at least the 70s, 80s and 90s oil field. The truth was pretty obvious and there was nowhere to hide when one screwed the pooch.
There is no inflation at TL’s Posts and Podcasts. Even though my costs have gone up, I have not and, for the foreseeable future, will not raise subscription rates. Currently $5 per month or $30 per year.
In order to offer my subscribers a further benefit, please use the discount code “subscriber” for a secret 30% off the paperback versions at Twelveround.com. This discount will not be advertised, this is the only way to get it, but you can offer it to friends and family.
Twelveround.com is still the home of quality fiction with 60-70% 5-star ratings. If Westerns, Shadow Soldier, Home to Texas and Into Exile aren’t your thing, Rebel and Rogue are more modern (1970s) If you don’t want to buy from Amazon or have them in e-book format, you can get the physical novels from Twelveround for the above discount.

Love and appreciate you T.L. Conservatives have lost the courts, the schools, the media. And yes, I agree that the new Trump is looking at legacy rather than righting the ship. This Old Corp Marine is circling the wagons and limiting his world view. It all sucks and our institutions are not helping. Not good on any level. Semper Fi.
In no particular order.....
We have a distinct difference in mentality (duh!), but according to the perception of the use of boundaries, or structure. The left abhors boundaries. They are the river without banks, the flood that destroys the moral amoebas and chameleons, and by default deviant perverts because after all, what they call 'love' has no bounds and to put any on them is ....fascism of course.
They also bear a remarkable resemblance in form and function to the black hole, as though they are the human (or semi-human) incarnation; it spins round and round and basically consumes and destroys everything that comes in contact with it and does nothing in return.
Their 'reality' is their own fiction - based on words - in which 'silence is violence' - anything to get them to feel self-righteous but more importantly to feed their inner destructive - and sadistic -hunger that feeds off of death and pain. Their command of language gives them the tool to change reality itself -gee, godlike in their own minds.
Put these attributes together and we get a raging destructive force bent on causing pain, yet needing it's host to suck the life force from, with language giving them the persuasive tools to make it all happen. E.g. Satan smooth-talking Eve until her very death.
And like the black hole, it can never, ever be sated.
