The crisis of conscience is what kills the right every time. They want to win, but they don’t want to do anything dishonorable in the process. They won’t take a stint in jail to win. They won’t intentionally inflict emotional or psychiatric pain on another person, even if that person is intent on inflicting the same sort of damage upon them. In one way, it makes a person proud to be among such fine people, but if that leads to drag queen story hour with children, it takes the shine off of that pride.
The left suffer from no such crisis. This is not to say they don’t have a conscience, but that they see over the horizon of their immediate actions, or are, more accurately, willing to accept that vision, however clumsily and fraudulently presented, as a cause worthy of soiling their hands.
As we see now, a great many of the left have no other goal than to seize power. They never know what to do with it, except to revert to some animalistic nature of oppressing or killing all who oppose them, but they don’t suffer from the paralyzing fear of acting that the right does.
I have observed and lamented this over the years, but it never seems to get better. January 6th was not the insurrection the left has labeled it. It was only an assault on the capitol in the sense that infiltrators led a reluctant crowd of protesters through doors left open by capitol police, so they could be ushered in and trapped like wild animals. This is what the left is willing to do to their enemies and the first thing I heard come out of the mouths of radio personalities as the events were unfolding, were apologetic, appalled denunciations of their entrapment. That’s when you know you’re on the losing side. If it had been Antifa, the left would have come out hard on every outlet screaming about the actions of those brave few were the cost of injustice. Not a word like that was uttered from the right.
How about this: If you don’t want the capitol to be assaulted, don’t rig elections.
The right has been polite. That’s a goal, I assume, because they have been polite through the election interference of Donald Trump in 2016, even though he was able to overcome it. Then, Hillary offered up a scandal against Trump that strapped his ability to govern in every possible way, giving his opponents in the Republican party cover to criticize and hamstring his efforts from the right and the left. When most of the Russia scandal had been exposed as a lie, the pandemic was unleashed by these same forces further compromising the 2020 election; every tool was utilized to affect the outcome of that election.
The right was polite through the peaceful overthrow of their will. January 6th was simply an expression against that overthrow, that coup, and it has been used by the left to hinder and repress support for Trump and denigrate the right every since, especially within the Republican party.
It doesn’t matter what one thinks of Trump, good or bad, the fact is that it was the people’s will that was overthrown, not Trump. This is an event of such incredible magnitude that it takes one’s breath away. Joe Biden’s actions since then have established the coup, cemented the art of the steal. In many ways it has codified that process of disenfranchising well over half of the nation, leaving the small, communist core to rule.
The fences put up around the White House were against the opposition to that coup. Were it to have happened against the left, they would have needed those soldiers, those fences, because the left would have come unhinged, more unhinged than they are whenever Trump is mentioned. They put up those fences, because they thought the right was like them, that the right would fight back against such obvious injustice, such coldly-calculated theft. In fact, they desired that more than anything else as a means of finally crushing the right forever. But would they have succeeded?
This is why the right loses every battle against the communists on the left and will ultimately lose every war. The right holds onto its integrity until the communists seize power and use that awesome power of the state against Christians praying in public, against concerned parents who discover the indoctrination in their schools, the obscene acts taking place there. The right is polite when it’s discovered that the usurper in chief is obviously guilty of bribery, human trafficking and treason. Since they will not act, they decide to vote in a rigged system hoping for a better outcome.
The left looks at a problem and finds a solution, then they act. They will lie to congress, force people into their homes, destroy businesses that have survived all other recessions, kill police, burn down police stations, occupy whole sections of inner cities with CHOP-like areas and if you thought that had ended, you’re wrong. There are still places in America that continue to be occupied by those same strident communists.
When the right can’t win against the left, they attack each other. They choose an opponent against whom they are most likely to win without losing their sacred honor. That sates their thirst for control and gives them an illusion of power that they so recently lost to the left. It’s disgusting to watch it play out every day.
The same arguments and objections accompanied the Revolutionary War. Many of those who argued against the Declaration of Independence were those who clung to their sacred honor, who saw the violence in the streets against the Crown as distasteful and dishonorable. Those who signed the Declaration of Independence swore their lives, treasure and sacred honor to the goal of freedom. There’s a reason that “sacred honor” was one of the sacrifices to be made, because they knew that playing by the rules was a prescription for defeat.
We’re in the same place. Those who want to win are writing the rules, the laws, that bind us to defeat. They’re making criminals as fast as they can, either with the pistol brace, (something that is an ex post facto law and declared openly as unconstitutional) or simply by labeling concerned parents domestic terrorists. Laws are being drafted to eliminate white people from certain occupations and schools. It is racism codified in law. We either need to surrender or fight. With the decision to fight we need to accept the sacrifice of our honor. In sacrificing our honor we do so to restore the republic, not our own freedom, or treasure, but that of future generations.
In taking a page from the left, let us see what the problem is and find a solution and dedicate ourselves to that, no matter what the neighbors say or what our progeny will think, but to act in their best interest for the years to come. This is our time, it is our burden and in many cases our fault. Let us not leave this mess to them to suffer and face the brutal willingness of the communists to destroy and defame them.
The problem is there has been a coup against the will of the people. All other problems are ancillary.
The will of the people has been overthrown in the schools, in the universities, in health care, in elections, in sources of power and electric generation, in security of the border, in the actions of police. All of that is being driven by the aspect that the communists have seized key positions in government and society. Corporations are acting against the will of the shareholders and investors, except for the huge investors like Blackrock and Vanguard. The communists have seized control over those investment firms and use that power to obliterate antitrust laws, force ESG and DEI onto corporations that discriminate against employment based on race and religious affiliation. These break the long-established laws against it and if the will of the people had not been usurped by federal police and intelligence agencies in 2020, that would not be taking place.
It all comes back to the central problem of the coup against the will of the people.
To fight you have to love what they hate and hate what they love.
Again, they are using Trump as the strongest of the right as a proxy for the people. Defeat Trump and they can discourage others, dishearten their resistance. Trump as a human being is irrelevant in the war against them, but they have seized on him as a proxy for the will of the people. The people put him in power in 2016 and that unleashed the communists’ most dastardly acts against the republic. Immediately, they set out to destroy the system of elections, hyperinflating their established means of swaying close races. They’re smart enough to focus on Trump as a proxy, because defeating a single man is easier than defeating the majority. But they have not stopped their assaults on the school system, the medical profession, the legal system, the right-leaning media, the system of elections, the corporations, because they all involve the people, the majority that is their enemy.
The following is NOT about the election. It’s about tactics. It’s about seeing the communist machinations and pointing them out.
The current campaign illustrates their plan in graphic detail. Recognizing part of the Republican party is as much communist as anyone on the left has already been demonstrated by Kevin McCarthy and the American Action Network that has continued to air advertisements claiming that McCarthy won in the debt-ceiling negotiations and brought back the prize, but the bill passed in congress was gutted and left by the side of the road by Biden. There were no cuts in spending, the debt-ceiling was obliterated until after the election and Biden’s green agenda was funded and made law.
There are only a couple of reasons to run against Trump, the clear leader by some 30 points: they’re in the race either to weaken his support as the indictments rack up or to seek a Vice Presidency. One or the other. To weaken him only serves the communists.
I like DeSantis and have admired most of his actions as governor. I believe that he’s in this race because he thinks he can win, that his differences with Trump should make him the nominee, but when you view his backers you recognize a lot of Bushes and billionaires that simply hate Trump. When you view it that way, you don’t have to blame DeSantis, you can simply recognize that for the purposes of those behind him, he’ll do as a proxy to damage Trump. Those Republicans want to lose, want to further the communist agenda. They want a compliant and easily-fooled Republican voting base that Paul Ryan would be proud of. Trump destroyed that in the debates in 2016, but what was really on display then was that he was merely proposing what the great majority of the Republican base really wanted, which was a fighter instead of another traitor to their cause.
That was OUR voice that they heard, that they were determined to crush for all time. The Republicans that are working against Trump are working against the ideal that the people will choose someone who will speak for them. They don’t want to hear your voice, your opinions. They want to spend your tax dollars as they see fit, how it will benefit their donors and their objectives toward authoritarian rule.
Those are the big issues at hand, not Trump, not DeSantis, not even elections, because that process has been obliterated.

Substitute "the National Security State" for the "left", "Democrats", and "communists", and you have a point. It's the National Security State seeking absolute power which in a lot of ways they already have. Our political process is a fake and a distraction, at root, the two parties do not oppose each other, they work for their corporate owners, just as the National Security State does. And the DC-based "right" and "left" are the same, they have the same owners/donors. The NSS through its propaganda arm - media, both social and legacy - is very effective at dividing the country so that the true opponent to the Constitution gets away scot free every time. And Trump may be the standard bearer for the people on the right, as RFK Jr may be for the people on the left, but Trump was severely compromised from the outset, which explains his raft of insubordinate and openly disloyal appointees - and. of late, lawyers. Perhaps ways will be found to compromise Kennedy, but I doubt that he will get nominated, because it's up to the DNC to pick their candidates (as it is for the RNC), the primaries serving the role of increasing voter engagement and name recognition, as the court in Sanders et al vs DNC held. Perhaps Trump will play the role of Navalny to whoever-it-is playing the role of Putin, but the political process has been compromised for a long time and now it's just more meaningless agitprop.
We're going to nice ourselves to death if we don't wake up.
