On the sea of geopolitics are storms. The smaller the ship of state, the rougher and more dangerous the seas. Neither America, China nor Russia are impervious to the squalls and when a squall turns into a massive storm, it can spell the end. Even great ships sink, but not without some level of stupidity, corruption or evil intent. This is America, today. It’s a system that has embraced all of these vulnerabilities and is headed toward the dark waters of oblivion.
The first indication of it’s doom was the stolen election of 2020. A nation that is too stupid to defend itself from fraud, too corrupt to correct that fraud and too evil to admit it took place is advertising these vulnerabilities to the world. It smacks of a sick nation and puts off the odor of weakness to a world full of predators.
Aside from the election, however, there are other signs that have perked the ears and narrowed the eyes of those who’ve been stalking this nation for a century or more. One is the devotion to “climate change” or rather the solution to the made up crisis. Notice that neither China, nor Russia have bought into it. India gives it no credence and produces nearly as much CO2 as China, ignoring all that has driven American politics and made it weak.
While any American who remembers the 1970s and burning rivers of pollution recognizes a responsibility to the environment, the danger of pollution was addressed and corrected in the 1970s and 80s, forty years ago and without that, the enemies of capitalism had to invent something equally as horrific and produced the idea of CO2 as a dangerous element that would wipe out humanity. With oil and gas as the prime villain in their tragic play, the theatrics have led to self-destructive energy policies. If the enemies of America can’t take it down, there’s always an element of self-loathing brought on by wealth and luxury, that can cause a certain communist element of Americans to take it down themselves. But who knew that it was this widespread?
As war correspondent Michael Yon recently pointed out in an interview further down on this page Texas TL in Exile Ep 15, war is always accompanied by the other two horsemen of the apocalypse: famine and pandemic. The recent pandemic of Covid 19, another manufactured crisis (starting to get the strategy here?) stretched the supply lines to breaking causing shortages, the beginning of a greater famine.
Now, we have a world where America has intentionally disabled itself with regulations and restrictions against the use of its own abundant oil reserves to “save the planet” while still requiring the oil to produce food, heat and shelter. It’s an intentional dependence on oil from our allies, but foreign policy, as demonstrated in Afghanistan and Ukraine, has rattled the long-standing bonds of our alliances. Our weakness shown in internal politics and external geopolitics stinks and the whole world can smell it. Our allies sense a sinking ship and are paddling away from it, leaving only our enemies to supply that oil.
Saudi Arabia refuses to accept the calls of the corrupt usurper Joe Biden while it invites Xi Jinping to a state dinner to discuss using the Yuan for all future oil sales. Saudi Arabia is just the first ally to paddle to more secure shores. This single act is the beginning of the American financial crisis that will stand atop the fuel crisis that will stand atop the military crisis. It’s the flag raised on the Eurasian power structure.
The Saudi/China alliance is one that threatens the U.S. Dollar as the world reserve currency. It was with the assurance of the value of the dollar that allowed for debt to grow out of control. Take that assurance of value away and the U.S. left to sink by the weight of its own debt that is now more than 100% of its GDP and just last week was magnified by the 1.5 trillion dollar spending bill that Democrats and Republicans alike agreed to. Our own congress is jumping up and down on the bow of the sinking ship. Why? Corruption, stupidity or evil intent, maybe all three, because they don’t see themselves as “American” but rather global citizens, now that they’ve raided the treasury and feathered their own nests.
If the U.S. Dollar is not the world reserve currency, there’s nothing to prevent it from losing value as quickly as the Venezuelan Bolivar, once backed by its own vast oil reserves until it too embraced communism instead of capitalism. This is a script and our politicians are complicit in playing their parts.
The forecast is this: the dollar loses its preeminence and loses value at rate never seen before. Already the price of oil is driving up the cost of growing food, but this can and will accelerate as the dollar loses value abroad to the point of previously unthinkable famine. Only the 1930s, when the financial crisis caused the same sort of food shortages and crisis in the family farm can provide a guide to the future, but times it by 10 or 100.
Already, there is no solution. The famine is baked into soaring fuel and fertilizer prices. The broken supply chain only exacerbates it. War? A nation as weak as the United States is right now only encourages it and the policies of Joe Biden to inoculate the military with the dangerous “vaccine” and purge healthy, highly-trained troops for ideological (read “patriotic”) tendencies along with the sudden devotion to "woke” agendas makes further aggressive action by Russia and China not only inevitable, but obligatory.
Here we are on the doorstep of history. Are we too stupid, corrupt or evil to prevent it? We’re a little too late to do some of it, but what about the rest? Can we not do whatever it takes to ensure our political future? Or, are we doomed to accept it? Can we not simply recognize that we are being ruled by fools that have endangered the entire nation and act to rectify it? Forget elections, that’s what started this blazing ball of feces rolling downhill. We need to be bold, to follow the lead of the convoy and stand up. They will not allow the normal means of protest for fear of their lives, so what must we do?
I just got word that today they used the dump trucks and police to keep trucks from going along I-695 that would take them through Washington D.C., just through it, not stopping at it. Things are heating up there. I’m keeping a close eye on it. But this is all they understand. Our politicians, as demonstrated by the vote to go 1.5 trillion dollars further in debt and the passage of the gun control legislation that all Republican representatives said would never get passed, got passed. We’re on our own in a dangerous world hostile to us and made more dangerous by a fraudulent election that has demonstrated that there’s no accountability for crimes committed against us.
"The first indication of it’s doom was the stolen election of 2020."
With all due respect, it has been my stated opinion for decades that the first indication was the shift from a confederation of states to a federal republic. Everything since has been an accelerating downhill slide. To me, the 2020 election is better described as "the straw that broke the camel's back".
Steve Deace is always entertaining, often inspirational. Monday he expressed his frustration by saying he's American by geography only, and wouldn't support the government, especially in the subject of his rant -- sending his sons to fight Russians. He lives in Iowa and is an ardent Christian, so likely would fight for what he believes. He's just frustrated the current government believes differently than he does, so he's ready to retreat. That's never a winning strategy.
Those of us who are frustrated with current rulers and recent oppressions need to get focused on winning, not succumbing to frustration. Recent strategies haven't worked. We'll find better strategies. We'll win, eventually. It's never easy. Man up for the fight, or prepare to lose.
