I wish that folks would realize that the only way to survive this Orwellian Matrix is to live more like The Amish. Yes, the Amish exist in our world, but they remove themselves as much as possible from "the government approved" virtues. They are wealthy people; they pay and deal with cash only, no credit cards, therefore no reoccurring debt. They help each other from farming fields to building homes to trading "things" such as livestock, tools, etc. Again-peer to peer partners in business. They do not send their children to government schools so no child is drugged, convinced to be a constant consumer, nor are they treated like cattle to be herded and fenced. Their children are taught farming, cooking, gardening, and other lessons to survive and thrive. Their transportation is a horse and buggy-something that can be repaired at home or treated by the vet. Try doing that with an all electric Lexus. Your family is better off with an older car that can be maintained without a $1000 bill from the dealership. Boys grow to be men learning how to build, maintain, and lead. Girls grow to be women learning cooking, sewing, caring for the next generation, and being active in their community. Orthodox Jews do the same thing. John Q Public thinks that stopping schooling at 8th grade means people no longer learn. You would be surprised that many Orthodox Jews are quite computer literate-and that includes repairing them! Traveling Europe for 3 months sounds fantastic-but do you know your own state? We need to make a sincere effort to distance ourselves from all of this larceny, lying, and chaotic craziness. It is the only way that survival will be possible.
Without 'glamourizing' it - because living with prior levels of tech require MUCH more labor - notice (if we are permitted...) the near-zero autism rates, how almost no Amish died during covid, almost no autoimmune diseases - you catch my point.
Yet that life is inextricably connected to Mother Earth God, each other - in ways incomprehensible to convenience and 'latest greatest' worshipper and addicts.
Of course, they - nor anyone - are perfect, but somehow tech after maybe 1960 in most domains, started becoming the master rather than the tool and servant.
Man is not a digital entity; as long as we are of flesh, we will thrive the most the more we live according to specifications, e.g. living, breathing, reproducing, and fostering those offspring in a word the human was designed for. Meaning, a word the body can manipulate and adjust to having received information from the senses and moderated, but the thinking apparatus sandwiched between 2 ears, and directed by the precepts of The Almighty and the community - real community - in which it lives.
We are not the 10% of our brains that calculate stuff, at the peril of starving out the remainder.
And funny how the 'digitized human worker unit' will be the first to be replaced by the even better digitized silicon humanoids it has created.
Yet talk about Grand Idolatry on a cosmic scale: we have now created a Golden Calf that can talk, walk, create other calves and have a 120,000 IQ powered by AI. Talk about worshipping the works of our hands What a grand irony.
