The Political 1%

Most Americans are aware of the economic 1%, the wealthiest people in America and on the planet. They are capable of exerting undue influence on the economy. Wherever they go, they warp the market. They can create fads in investing just by buying or selling, pulling the rest of the public along with them and when they make mistakes, (the electric vehicle EV market, for one) it can bankrupt the much smaller players, while the losses of the one-percenters are simple write-offs against their larger, more successful plays. It takes billions in losses to shake them out of their mistaken beliefs, like DEI. For the small guy, though, these boondoggles are catastrophic.

Most Americans are not aware, however, of the political 1%; the most powerful and often the wealthiest people in the world (since we have opened our politics to the world). They warp the political landscape wherever they go. When they make mistakes, they are equally immense and damaging to the population. It’s ironic, therefore, that the people most stridently calling for democracy, have no interest in it at all. What’s the point of being a one-percenter, if they subordinate their wants and desires to the average working stiff? Or worse, the poor and homeless? That’s what a republic demands and it’s anathema to them. The 1% want to use the cloak of democracy to nullify resistance to some of the most heinous and ludicrous proposals, like eating bugs, while they dine on steak; public transportation while they fly around in jets; marginal and occasional electric service, while they make side deals with nuclear power plants for a constant stream of reliable electric service to play AI. AI is important so they can generate fake supporters for more deadly proposals. Almost everyone understands the propaganda associated with their ploys, but no major media or even cable network have stepped out to call them on it. The one-percenters pretend to care about one thing or another so long as that position somehow damages their political opposition or benefits themselves or their allies.

The political 1% may not be who you think. Some of them are the think-tankers, the big donors and only rarely anyone actually in government employ. They’re Barack Obama types, behind the scenes, letting everyone else take the heat for their lame-brained policies and practices. Though I don’t think Obama himself is a one-percenter in that respect. He is merely wealthy, but not wealthy in their sense of the word. That and his political clout that could once have led him to 1% status, has waned considerably. His very presence on the campaign trail is often a death knell to whomever he curses with it. Merrick Garland is not a one-percenter, he’s a cog, a bit player in a drama that will see him in prison or dead, because that’s what happens to functionaries doing the bidding of the brighter and wealthier who have escape plans. Merrick Garland will only find this out after the dirty work has been done and he no longer serves his diversionary purpose. It’s that odd moment that reveals the true plan, when the doors close on the luxury bunkers and people like Garland, who have been assured of inclusion, find it ultimately denied. As the mafiosos often remark, when death is surely at hand, “this is the life we chose.”

The bigger point, not that all of the above isn’t true, but because it is true, is that by the mere acceptance of it, is a capitulation. One cannot describe the fact that the political world is run by a finite few, unknown, undisclosed, unvetted and unacknowledged, except in the vaguest terms, that this is not only not the United States of America, it’s not Britain, France, Italy or any other Western democracy. They are nothing at all, but police functions over a free-range people. In this case protecting the preferred illegals and enforcing the laws on the legal citizens, the conquerors over the conquered.

What is the bigger picture? Is it to replace a population they have murdered or sterilized? Is it that they import, arm and protect the foreign armies and send them out to kill as many of the natives as possible and then attempt to subject the foreign armies? Good luck with that. I don’t think any of their plans will actually work, none of them have, yet. The process of failure, though, will be the eradication of the current citizens of these Western lands.

We’re already in a third world war; we’re already in a second civil war, the only thing missing from either, so far, are mass American casualties. Or, rather, the mass American casualties being taken are not being attributed to those wars, but some vague criminal activity rising up from the depths like a fog. It’s as if no one knows where the casualties are coming from or what’s causing them, but both of those values are known. Part of the information war is to make that undeniable.

The civil war, at least, is happening. It is kinetic and it is producing mass American casualties. Cloaking it in terms of criminality is the diversion, the denial of the obvious. What is required is a response. When the Venezuelan gang (government proxies) took over different apartment buildings in major U.S. cities, the American people got the wrong message from the supposed response from the Hells Angels and the criminal gangs in Chicago. It was not to sit back and rely on those organizations to save the day, but a demonstration on what is needed from the citizens themselves.

Another fact of war is this: if you move against the enemy, you will suffer the dead, the wounded and the captured. This is no different. I don’t blame anyone for not recognizing the moment for what it is, or thinking it best to wait a while longer, to be sure of the validity of one’s target, but I will tell you that it only gets tougher and riskier every second. I also believe there will be a moment when it does become clear to most. That time might be right now. But whenever it comes, that will be the time to choose your family or yourself.
