For the time being, I’m planning on staying with the convoy until it loops the beltway on Sunday, if that’s the plan. I’ve been told that Saturday is a down-day, a chance for everyone to do interviews or whatever, relax before tomorrow’s journey. Thanks to donations and subscriptions, I’ve been able to get things uploaded, because I have not had to do it from the car where I have very little bandwidth.
As for how this has been working is that it’s easier and more efficient to upload short, descriptive videos on Rumble, then link them on Gettr and Gab. The Substack, I use for more thoughtful pieces, longer interviews, but the subscriptions there help me to fund this whole endeavor, which doesn’t end at the end of the convoy. I’m still hoping to publish a picture book of the whole thing, whether I get a publisher to go along, or I do it myself, I have all of the material. I’ll also start work on a small documentary and scout for funding for a feature-length documentary like Lies of Omission. So, if you have not yet become a paid subscriber, consider it as there will likely be ongoing commentary on the convoy long after I leave it and with my contacts now, I can get some inside information, i.e., the truth.
Also, I will be on Steve Balko’s radio show Amped in the Morning, out of St. Louis on Monday at 7:19 am Central. You can listen to it live on the internet, I think, or, at least, download it afterward. Please listen if you can.
Here’s the rub, no one discovers talent and brings it along. Talent has to do its own work and hopefully get noticed, then the big publishers or producers jump in after all of the expense and work has been done to take advantage of the product. I’m fine with that, because then it’s all on me to produce, but I’m also reliant on paid subscriptions to get the product.
I’ll be uploading short bits all day today. But, where do we go from here? I guess that depends on what happens Sunday, something, or nothing. Is there a story beyond the convoy? We’ll see.
TL - thanks for all the updates and especially for keeping up the fight for our country and constitution. I'll definitely listen in to your radio interview Monday morning. You and the crew have my continued prayers and I'll drop another donation today as well. God Bless, Godspeed and stay frosty.
The objectives of the convoy haven't changed much, so the important consideration seems to be "what's next?" We need to keep our energies focused. We need to get folks involved. Maybe a national rally in every capitol or every city. Worked for Tea Party. Maybe a uniform day, everybody wears red or something one day a week. My best hope would be National Buy A Gun day where everybody marches down to their local gun store and buys something. Sales have been brisk last year, need to keep that going. Make them know we're serious. Canadians settled down. That's how we lose.
