TINVOWOOT

The electoral process is three card monte. If each and every one of "us" voted for the same candidates across the board, all we'd hear is "Awww, you missed it by this much."

"This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we'll be lucky to live through it."

In my opinion failing to vote only cedes that territory and legitimizes the opposition. I don't want them legitimized, I want them to have to go to further and further lengths to steal it. That's what creates the political motivation to action. A lot of people who thought the election fraud in 2020 was overblown and Trump's tantrum, but have now seen the evidence and recognize where the fault lies. Building that sentiment is important to whatever comes next. While TINVOWOOT, there's no honor in ceding territory to your enemy, either.

I concede your point. I will happily vote for any candidate with a proven record of favoring liberty over power

If you concede that this is war, as I do, any obstacle to your enemy is valuable. It might just be a string of barbed wire, if it's all you got, string it out. Everyone has their own criteria, yours may not be mine, but I hold to what I think as dearly as you do. I will vote for anyone who even occasionally votes opposite my enemy as that might be the vote that defeats the bill. But I take your point, none of these in congress deserve anything other than a swift kick and what I think might equate to throwing dirt clods at an enemy firing 50 caliber rounds, but if that's all I have, I'll use it.
