The Epoch of Decline

The problem America has is that it’s lost its sense of self. Indoctrinated in the school curriculums for generations now, is the sense that America is evil. Success is always the product of oppression, therefore success must be abolished. Winners are only winners, because they’re lucky or benefit from a systematic advantage. The purpose of this is to champion the failures, encourage the least capable.

At the end of World War II, America was the strongest nation on earth, both militarily and economically. It had no equals. The great nations of Europe had largely been destroyed by the war, but America had suffered almost no damage. In fact, its industrial might was unequalled, whereas factories and mills across Europe had been destroyed by one side or the other.

Any nation that strong represented a threat to the world and specifically communist Russia. Soon, the Cold War raged between the two, but something else happened. As Matt Bracken describes in Lies of Omission, the long march through the institutions began. Beating America militarily was out of the question, but subverting it from within was wide open.

The culmination of the long march is America’s present. Through a constant pressure to accept communist principles and reject successful American principles the nation has been converted to a self-hating, antagonistic population too brainwashed to recognize the immutable truths about the value of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Do these messages sound familiar? Life is dangerous, the earth can’t support so many people, so wherever possible the state must support the destruction of life. Liberty is just selfish and a racist “dog whistle” to mean “white privilege.” No one has a right to be happy, not when there are so many others who are poor or unhappy. These, and more, are now promulgated throughout society by the state, the corporations and the institutions once entrusted with the American way of life. Even our military, long a bastion against such manipulation, has fallen prey.

As the communists, including the Chinese Communist Party, seek the destruction of American principles, there will be a moment when it all hinges on one event, or one crucial epoch of time when the American people will know that there is a choice to be made. Roughly ten percent recognize that this will be the time to seize power, half of them represent the republic and half of them represent communism. The great middle, those seeking a weekend full of sports, walks to end one disease or another, mostly vaxxed, largely reluctant to abandon the mask, do not matter. They are the people who will go either way, fall in with whichever side is victorious. I hate to point out how completely they fell for all of the propaganda concerning Covid, but they jumped right on that bandwagon and most of them have never gotten off.

While it’s encouraging to see so many people come out to support the convoy from California to DC, it was always with a sense that most of them were just attending the latest patriotic parade, without putting any real skin in the game. They cheered it on and waved their flags, but did they understand that the convoy represented an opportunity for the nation to stand against all of the oppression of the past two and a half years? Some did, I could see it in their eyes. They understood what the convoy meant and were there for that. Most, however, were not that sincere.

Why should you vote, when the nation balances on a knife’s edge of capitulation? Because you must fight with every tool in the shed, not choose just one or two favorites. The upcoming moment of decision will arrive about the time the famine really starts to kick in; when it’s obvious that there has not been enough crops harvested to feed everyone at the rate they’re accustomed to eating and shortages are not only evident, but persistent.

Then, it will be important to remember that the state can’t fix the problem, no matter how loudly they proclaim to have it all under control. They can’t do it, because they caused it and it’s their strategy for overthrowing what’s left of the American political system. They don’t want a 2022 election, not a free and fair one, and if it looks like they’re going to lose, they’ll put it off during the famine, or require mail-in ballots so that the poor won’t have to spend money on rare and expensive gasoline to go vote.

Both things converge, the 2022 election and the 2022 harvest. This is America’s Roman Moment. The moment when the nation succumbs to decline or rises to reinvigorate its principles. I think this is when America’s enemies step up to cement control. Having control and having it recognized you have control are different and important distinctions. While there have been many, many points where, had the people taken a stand, it would have changed everything. The general public has missed them all, shrugged, but when their family is starving, they can’t afford go to work and the bank is threatening to take their house, leaving them homeless, they can either embrace those who created their predicament or reject them and their policies, reclaiming America’s sense of self as a great nation led by the best America has to offer, not the worst, least capable. Sadly, most of the time, they’ve embraced their abusers. Don’t do it.
