Sloped field - appro 🙄

Several things.

1. Will Abbott strengthen up - more than now, which is needed - or not?

2. Will Paxton keep up the attacks and defenses which seem effective?

3. Will 'regionalism count? Meaning, even in times of war not every place is damaged. History teaches most times things break apart along largely predictable fault lines, e.g. ethnicity, religion, class, and outright tradition of conflict. Will Texas, Oklahoma and others form Defacto alliances?

Examples: Balkans (old conflicts); N. Ireland (religion), central America the drug gangs. Yet Argentina has had heaps of opportunity to drop into horrible violence but hasn't because while political figures hate each other the are few traditional fault lines that really make them hate each other to a violent degree, and that fiery culture doesn't have an ethos of endless violence though there have been periods in history rougher than others.

Don't count on Abbott, or any of our 'representatives' they have all gone over to hump the wailing wall and take all their marching orders from their foreign masters.

I don't think Biden will resign from the "Presidency" - or be forced to. That would be a bit much for him, to resign in disgrace from his position which he'd fought so hard for. And it's obvious it's been a regency, as it was for George W. Bush - with Cheney running things and setting policy, while Bush was the "explainer"; with Reagan in his second term where ex DCI George H W Bush calling the shots and setting policy, and with Trump in his first term, after the first three months, where every important policy shift he tried to make was quickly "walked back" by "aides", and whose Cabinet Secretaries refused, to the point of insubordination, refused to carry out his decisions, the most notorious being DOD Secretary John Esper, who refused to call out the Army when the WH was surrounded by a mob threatening imminent armed action in Fall 2020 - Esper should have been fired on the spot for insubordination, but Trump didn't do so - and there are a host of like examples. We have a "double government" problem here: The actions taken accrued solely to the benefit of the US Administrative State and the corporations and structures which own it and direct its operations. The US has a “double government”, one which is elected and runs a “clown car”, and a permanent - and actual - government which has existed since 1937 (see https://mises.org/mises-daily/revolution-was ) and whose ambit and powers have been codified into law since the Great Coup of 1947, the year of the establishment of the US National Security State and the final overthrow of Constitutional rule - the appearances remain so as not to upset the general public (those who aren’t in the Club) but the substance has been hollowed out and replaced by an entirely alien structure - see https://sites.tufts.edu/fletcheradmissions/files/2014/01/National-Security-and-Double-Government-by-Glennon.pdf and the following video from 10 years ago - rest assured, nothing has changed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKsItbj49K0 and see https://streamfortyseven.substack.com/p/age-competence-and-obvious-puppet If we're lucky, elections - as Glennon recommends - will fix the problem - but that uses the System's rules to defeat the System, and by definition, that can't work.

Biden hasn't fought hard for anything. Its all been slight of hand crap over his entire career and he's been anyone's whore if he felt it would benefit himself. He sat in his basement during the 2020 election while his handlers stole the election for him. How hard was that?

Has Biden been seen since he announced he had covid again? I don't have a TV, so I have no way of knowing. By the way, I have always thought it was Biden in one of those high quality silicone masks, used to cover up his absolute decrepitude. I think if it was an actual body double they would find one that was capable of rational speech.

"Taking any side will alienate a good portion of the others"

Yep, a trap of their own making, which is why they must continuously demonize the opposition. Literally Hitler!

Great writing, sir!

Might be time to go to ground until the Storm passes. Of course maintaining local cohesion as much as possible as after a tornado or hurricane.

Great article!

Last night I watched "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" 1962 with new eyes. The election process is there in the movie as well as censorship of the press, murder and attempted murder, differing economic interests of citizens, and the hope of some citizens that becoming a State would bring dams, irrigation, schools, and law & order.

Perhaps only the costumes change.

The several States had the ultimate power until 1863 when the federal government established superiority by brut force and economic starvation. However, I believe the power of DC has been diminished by its graft and corruption and the States can regain their Constitutional dominance if they only have the courage to seize it. We just have to deny the Fed's plunder of our citizens and refuse the DC bribes that is only a small portion of our money being returned to us. Our governor's must recall that they control the militias and that the county sheriffs are the top law officers of the land. Oh yeah, overturn the 17th amendment, article 1, section 3 for free states by executive order and tell the courts to pound sand Andrew Jackson style. Sorry for the length, I've used all my words for today.

Don't be sorry for the length. We need all of it and more. Also repeal of the 16th.

We are in a bad place, and I think it will get worse before it gets better.

Worthwhile advice is limited.

In the words of John Wilder-

"Get out of cities. Now. A year too soon is better than one day too late."

And John Farnham-

Don’t go to stupid places- avoid crowds

Don’t associate with stupid people

Don’t do stupid things

Be in bed by 10:00pm (your own bed!)

Don’t look like a freak

Don’t fail the attitude test

I never mistook anyone in Washington for a leader. I always viewed those elected to be managers we sent to Washington to manage the affairs of state same as I would view someone I would hire if I were a business owner to manage my business. If I could hire them then I could fire them. But I (we) drifted off someplace and our managers discovered they could raid the till, and invented ingenious ways to do it without our notice. We didn't wake up and stop it. Maybe we became too intimidated by them to stop it. Now they manage us. Not as managers, but as bosses. We have become conditioned to do as they say. At least most seem to have. The ones who don't find themselves reading T.L. Davis and listening to people like Bongino, Mike Adams, Tucker Carlson and many others. We sit and seethe now that we realize whats been done to us and how stupid those of both parties think we are. Bongino often asks, "Has it gotten bad enough, yet?" I think it has.

I wait everyday for the consensus of my fellows. I have walked too often beyond my cover. I'll know it when I see it and join joyfully with them. All in my family are prepared for that day.
