It’s ALL come to a head T.L! It was like it is today, but it was hidden and covert.

Now, it’s who gives a f*ck! They’re going for broke and taking no prisoners.

The USA is a wrap. I think it was on November 22, 1963. The coup to take over and implement the NWO has been a plan for decades! It’s nearly come to fruition.

I will never vote again. Ridiculous…

I think it was a wrap much earlier, probably right after the Civil War, we've just been running on fumes, more or less, since then, but now the fumes are exhausted.

They're dead to me and have been for some time. I've called them Vichy Republican swine.

Titus Livy, in the introduction to his monumental history of Rome remarked that his purpose in writing was "to trace the progress of our moral decline, to watch, first, the sinking of the foundations of morality as the old teaching was allowed to lapse, then the rapidly increasing disintegration, then the final collapse of the whole edifice, and the dark dawning of our modern day when we can neither endure our vices nor face the remedies needed to cure them."

Now we must face the remedies needed to cure ourselves of the Marxist totalitarian rot that has overtaken us. That we have allowed to overtake us. Livy's cure will not take place in the voting both nor will it come from the forums of public debate.

Those forums have been lost to us, as any observant individual well knows. And now we must pay the price for Livy’s cure in fire and blood.

Extremely well said Ward! You get “it”.

Thank you. Thing is, you could see this coming from a long way off. All you had to do was to pay attention. I wrote several essays on this and other topics back in the 90s. These were routinely laughed at and ignored. No one's laughing now.

It can be said, YOU got the final word. And, possibly, events much worse than what you wrote about, unfortunately. The same is happening to people such as Alex Jones. He was laughed at as well…oooops!

Most Americans have such a naive attitude toward the world. This will be quite a life changing wake up call for many.

At the rate things are going, it will be a life ending wake-up call for many. Too many of us are whistling past the graveyard of history thinking that everything will be ok.

The bitter truth, TL. Well written. This is not a time for any sweet lies. T. Jefferson so perfectly stated. "The tree of liberty from time to time must be fertilized with the blood of patriots and tyrants." I thank you for your clarity of words regarding the representatives of Marxism.

Expand full comment

Indeed, a great nugget from Jefferson, even if he was punch drunk on the Enlightenment principals that have us embroiled in this end-state of the Empire of Lies.

But how far back do those lies go? Do we dare slay the sacred cows of Our Democracy?

For good or bad it seems we will not be burdened with rebuilding the mound as we are neither the Nation nor the People from which those ideals were spawned.

Meanwhile, reality, as she is wont to do, has oxidized many of those sweet lies of our particular "experiment" into bitter doses of medicinal history. And yet we still insist on a spoon full of sugar to help them go down.

It seems we the children of our history must re-learn all matters of prior lessons on self-organizing as fallen men.

What us Patriots conveniently gloss over is that the fertilizer of that Tree contains two ingredients. And in equal parts may be the optimistic take.

What this seeming interregnum of collapse affords us is the luxury of contemplation and preparation for the unknown, but also an accrual of opportunity, the cost of which will not be reconciled until someone's grandson is writing our story.

Some of the sweetest lies that refuse to die have to do with our own delusions of being able to compel the leviathan toward our service - or destroy her without so much as a goose feather falling from our pillow of progress.

I try to not let my own regrets of what I have squandered in time and resources and deployment of my generative gifts haunt me. But it is most difficult to quiet the torment of knowing some of what is coming and how we got here, while still having to navigate this zombieland and its clownish rules of engagement.

Our host and the spartan constellation of voices in the darkness provide much needed clarity and a small but vigorous wellspring of hope and gratitude.

I agree completely with T.L. Back in 2016 I felt that it would have been better for our Republic if Hillary had won. Trump sure as hell wasn't expecting to win. He was just building his brand.

If Hillary had won, there wouldn't have been Covid lockdowns. Hillary would have attacked Iran, IMO, and the war would be over by now. Change would have come.

Instead Trump for four years just dragged it all out. And now society is in bad shape. The economy is in bad shape. Hell, I'm in bad shape.

8 years ago I could have handled chaos, war, etc. Not now.

And, Trump just supported Mike Johnson, to implement more funds to Ukraine. What a nightmare for the world. Trump is a part of the madness.

What’s “credible”????

Expand full comment

A site that is consistently truthful, uses original source documents, as much as possible.

Kinda like comparing Toynbee to Zinn. And it takes a lot more time to ascertain what's credible and what's not. Deception is rampant.

T.L. Well said.

Out here in WA, the GOP did reorganize. Under the leadership of my friend Jim Walsh, a man who I consider a true statesman, the party fully endorsed Trump, and a populist candidate and former SF Soldier for Governor. Two old GOP candidates of the lamestream, who are both former members of Congress, were soundly cast aside. One candidate was running as a Republican for Governor, and the other was running for Public Lands Commissioner. They were sent scurrying by a new populist party who may just begin fighting for us. I abandoned the Republicans three years ago for all the reasons you mentioned. The WA Republicans were weak, wouldn’t fight, and most were corrupt in some form or another. It is time for a re-do.

Maybe the new WA party can be a model……??? We shall see. If the new candidates will pledge to keep their hands, and the hands of other politicians out of our pockets, there might be a chance. Today, my only question for a politician is “What will you do, if elected, to keep your hands out of my pocket?”

Suzanna, Excellent reminder, You’re so correct! Like I said….we shall see! I am highly guarded as to whether they will succeed, or just go the same old path. I no longer classify office holders & candidates as D’s, R’s, Libs, or Conservatives. Instead, I merely call them (insert expletive) politicians. I view them all with a level of disdain, because I know they will ultimately forget who they serve, and they become either partisan or corrupt…..or both! Cheers, S

TL and fellow commenters:

What we must realize is that the D v R factions are like a Repertory Theater.

Same actors but different featured plays, which cost big bucks for tickets.

I told my man 20 yrs ago DC has a uniparty. and the actors take turns playing

good cop v bad cop. The Federal level voting system is a clown show sham.

That is fairly obvious, isn't it? Think "bell-curve"...the far right end may be the

only ones that realize what's what. Last, once again, one solution is to forgo any

Federal elections altogether. We end up with the same entitled fossils 20-40-60

years on anyway...Bribes or Blackmail? Who cares? Ignore the fossils and play actors

altogether. It is a choice to vote, or not to vote...I must choose the latter, taking my ball

home, and refuse to join the game. No offense intended toward anyone, including

the crappy actors. They intentionally ignore the Golden Rule, which is the best guide

for living, regardless the religion of choice.

I was a registered Republican for almost 40 years. I donated money, worked on campaigns, wrote to politicians, and spoke to the state legislature. During that time I heard "We are the party of personal liberty, personal responsibility, and fiscal conservatism. Over those years I also heard "Just give us the House, and things will be different... And the Senate... And the Presidency. When the Rs had 'em all and still nothing changed, I realized I was being fed a steaming pile... and I never learned to enjoy the taste. It was around that time I heard Larry Elder say "There isn't a dimes worth of difference between a D and an R", and he went on to prove it. Amen brother, it's a uni-party run by the deep state, and we are just along for the ride.

What made me sure the system has been highjacked?

Insane unlimited spending.

Endless wars.

A government approval rating of 10 to 40% with an incumbent re-election rate of 90%+.

And finally the 8 year ongoing coup attempt / lawfare directed at DJT.

If a billionaire, a former president, and a leading current candidate isn't safe, no one is.

A good way to put the Ukraine spending in perspective is to compare it to the 2025 budget for the US Marines, which is less than 50 billion dollars.

I think your wish has already been granted. The Republican Party no longer exists as a unified functioning organization. The Democrat Party no longer exists as it once was, either, even though the new functionaries still use the name for now. Half or more of what was the Republican Party have joined with the new owners of the Democrat Party and morphed into the Uniparty. The more traditional Republicans and Democrats are just shaking their heads wondering what the hell as happened! If it were not for Trump and his MAGAs we would now be ruled (not governed) by a single party... the communist party. We are hanging by a thread.

Moron that I was, I had at least some trust in Ryan, Boehner etc. Alway "fighting for US!" Always losing. I was years late to the party so to speak, meaning others saw the Uniparty/globalists long before ignorant me. But agreed, they are much, much worse than the D party due to the near-total treachery.

There has certainly been hardening of rhetoric from some folks, meaning that they will vote, yet if the expected theft occurs they see no future possibility of honest...well, anything - and will revise their plans to act accordingly. Scary times ahead.
