Five

Historically, the invasion of the southern border is not unlike any other invasion or migration where the people of the victim nation were unable to prevent it. The Chinese built the great wall to defend their nation from the Mongols, who then turned around and invaded the landmass to the west, all the way up to Spain. Any given invasion or migration can be delved into in minute detail, if that were the purpose of this post, but it’s not. It’s the general idea of placing this invasion into perspective as one of the planet’s occasional redistributions of peoples. The “discovery” of the American continent led to much the same thing. Some have been accomplished for natural reasons, out of desperation, some in search of power or riches, this is no different. Those who seek to come to America are seeking the rich payoffs the Biden Administration is offering. Free stuff is the motivation of almost all invasions.

The glaring difference is that the ruling class, those placed in power to defend the borders and secure the homeland, have abdicated their responsibilities and even become agents for the migrants with clever apps and such to guide them to unguarded parts of the border.

This is all fact. The purpose is simple: those they govern presently do no offer the power or riches they seek. so they’re importing those who will give it to them. That’s not to say there isn’t a lot of nastiness that’s attendant to their plan. Part of this is to fulfill a desire to accumulate all of the private property, relegate the population, including the newcomers, to economic slavery, leaving those orchestrating it in complete control.

In one sense, it’s a privilege to be alive at this moment, an incredible moment in world history. We know what they plan to do and to some extent why, though the “why” of it is manifold and complicated. Suffice it to say, power and wealth for the few at the expense of the many. From where I sit, I’m not sure how they’re lacking that as things stand, but it must seem a lot better after the United States has been reduced to abject slavery.

The white genocide being perpetrated on all the Western nations has some significance to it that I’m unable to understand. The eradication of whites only leaves one with essentially Africa, so why not start in Africa if that’s what one hopes to accomplish? That’s just an odd caveat, though, to the greater question of what we ultimately do about it.

Great history is written by great periods of turbulence. As Nicholas Berdyaev writes in The Philosophy of Inequality “At the beginning of culture—is barbarism, at the end of this growth—is decadence.” This is the beginning of a new American culture, one with fresh understandings of freedom and tyranny, of genocide and survival. It’s a culture that we either write as we come out of the latest period of decadence, or disappear from the earth like the Anasazi or Atlantis. If we fail, all history will be washed from these shores and rebuilt as a ramshackle wasteland in the land of milk and honey.

It won’t be long until greater powers invade militarily, lay waste to the population and exploit the resources, but that shiny city on a hill will never again be realized. Not on this continent.

The effort, now, to resist this migration, this open door to the world, will have to be monumental and worthy of the great memorials to be built and songs to be composed. No matter what comes out of the other side it will not be the United States, those ties are already fraying badly, the core principles already diluted to nothing. We might rebuild on some of those principles, but any new construct of governance will be severe and immediate to hold on to even the smallest aspects of freedom.

We are, I fear, in the hands of a greater power than any on earth and it’s our fate to be in the situation that we are now. Unlike some who look at God’s strategy as punishment or reward, I don’t recognize it as such. God’s purposes are simply that, what suits Him for His purposes, not Man’s. We’re pawns in the hands of the Great Strategist.

Yet, I was given, along with all others on earth, a set of guidelines on which to conduct my life. I’ve been given some talents and some handicaps to go along with that lifelong mission. He did not put that burning desire for freedom in my heart to let me sit idle while all that I care about is wiped away by the evil that resides in the hearts of others. Eventually, it comes down to a conflict of those two opposing forces.

All of my literary work is designed to leave some artifact of what was great about America, about the connection of freedom and effort. It is to that purpose that I continue to write as if in a race with the future, hoping to accomplish a few more statements of the beauty and enlightenment of freedom before the dark clouds of inevitability crash down around me and I’m scrambling from one hole to another attempting to tally my quota of five.
