I can only hope and pray that TEXIT occurs as one of the first departures from the matrix once known as United States. I fear there will be a strong reaction to the subsequent secessors, since it may finally occur to the fed's they may have to financially support their own skewed ideas, rather than spreading the cost out nationally.

Same ol' "Makers vs. Takers" mantra.....

Onward, Christian soldiers!

One of many warnings from that Patrick Henry speech: “You read of a riot act in a country which is called one of the freest in the world, where a few neighbors cannot assemble without the risk of being shot by a hired soldiery, the engines of despotism. We may see such an act in America.”

Mr. Henry’s warning has been proven true many times as the government he feared has shot its people who assembled in a manner of which the government didn’t like.

I’ll say again what I have stated many times, many of the founders we were taught to revere did not necessarily oppose tyranny, they just wanted to be the tyrants instead of the subdued subjects.

Well, just look at the Federalists who undermined the purpose of the Framers who met to amend the Articles of Confederation, and subverted that, turning it into a convention to create a whole new Constitution, giving us a much more powerful central govt. They HIJACKED THE ENTIRE CONVENTION.

That they did. That was part of Henry's complaints in his speech. They kept the doors and windows closed while the convention went on, during the summer in Philadelphia, that's how hard they tried to keep quiet what they were really all about. Then, when it came to ratification, they pulled some further hijinks. Unfortunately, that's what gives politicians the right, in their mind, to basically ignore it. It was never done right and proper. But now we see that without those few rights being enumerated, the government would run amok. A lot of what the anti-federalists feared would happen, has.

Long-time Anti-Federalist here. I couldn't agree more. Reading your link to the Patrick Henry article now.

Which is why I have to laugh at the idealistic folks who want a COS, and state that the "rules" will protect it from being hijacked.

They're amazed when I tell them that IT HAS ALREADY HAPPENED, and by the likes of many of our Founders.

Am coming to truly hate Hamilton ... No wonder the lefties love him.

If you can find a DVD of "Dreams of my real father" it is an amazing eye opener. Frank Marshall Davis is Barry's actual father.

There is a photo of Barry's mother Stanly Ann Dunham in FMDs living room that ties it all togeather. The whole story is laid out. It is not conspiracy theory.

The last time I got a copy of the DVD was through Amazon.

Seriously, please watch this, more than once if you can there is a lot to take in.

I saw yesterday where the J6 provocateur Ray Epps didn't receive any jail time after finally being prosecuted. Unlike the head of the Proud Boys who received 22yrs, and he wasn't even in D.C. on J6. It was an 'in your face' kind of thing from the Globo-homo blob now controlling the occupying cabal. What they fail to understand (or maybe just don't GAS) is that everything they do such an injustice out in the open for all to see a little more of the sand they are standing on washes out from beneath their feet.

This nation is done... period. It is under God's judgement. God has been patient. But the evil committed in and by this country has overflowed its container and its filth has spread around the world. No nation, empire, or kingdom has sacrificed its children to satanic gods of Baal or Molach and survived. This nation will not, either, and the judgement is already being applied. The murder in excess of 60 million unborn is not going unanswered.

I don't know if we are under chastening or judgment. I have trouble believing that if God would spare Sodom for 5 righteous, in a large city like that, that He would be so unrighteous to ignore the many prayers for 50 years of hundreds of thousands of Believers who have lived righteously and prayed all that time.

Sodom was not spared and only Lot and his two daughters were allowed to leave the city due to Abraham's urging to the Lord. Numerous times in the Bible the Lord stated prior to a judgement that "the righteous will suffer with the unrighteous". Those to think they will be whisked away from destruction by some "rapture" might do themselves good to bone up on that. As for prayer, we mortals know not the will of the Lord nor His plan for us. Often times the answer to our prayers to Him is 'no'.

MOSTLY "no", in my experience. And we're not "appointed unto wrath", so we won't go through that part, but there will be plenty of tribulation before then.

Seeing the state these days of most of Christendom, I'm not surprised that there will only be a remnant.

As we begin our last year under Dementia Joe it seems like the aristocracy in place is doing everything that they can to set up a false flag event. Now we continue to hear about DOJ going after folks that weren't even at the J6 event. Seems unbelievable but its not. Another 1.6 trillion in debt was just added to the books. How will that be eliminated? Possibly global conflict and refusal to repay foreign lenders. It also appears that Nikki Haley is the pre-imminent choice for leadership for both parties. The Dems know they are damaged goods and what better neocon to lead us into that situation? I'll be surprised if there isn't a fabricated event in the next 3-4 months that allows marshall law and further persecution of citizens. I can almost hear bolt carrier groups slamming home!

Although TL's post circles around it, the fundamental issue, to paraphrase Franklin, is that only a virtuous people can self-govern, and the US today seems grossly bereft of such people, particularly those populating the current DC junta, and in most blue states. A purge would be cleaner and more efficient in placing the virtuous back in the majority, but as TL states, our current slouching to Sodom and Gomorrah will more likely lead to a period of weakness followed by unpredictable and devastating war for all, virtuous or not.

The issue of the constitutionality of secession by US states has never been legally determined (the Civil War having skipped to brute force to settle the point), and is fascinating given the the text of the Declaration.
