TL, thank you for the reminder to ask my local credit union this question. I have been meaning to do so. With your post, I just did so. I'll report back when I get an answer.

Regarding the issue of The FedNow, and the other salient points you made, you are correct. Neither side of the aisle is addressing these issues. Of course, we have all come to know that it is really a uniparty working together, at the behest of their handlers, and not for the American people. I do not expect this to change. <sigh>

What do we do? When the ballot box no longer has real meaning. When Congress does nothing. When the judicial branch does nothing because they too are compromised. What do we do. (rhetorical)

*Why is Congress silent and idle concerning the horrendous physical and mental abuses of J6 protestors in a Washington, D.C. gulag and the ongoing violation of their Fifth and Sixth Amendment rights?

*Why do those in Congress who support the slaughter in Ukraine using the excuse of "protecting democracy" continue to use that excuse as Zelensky suspends elections, closes opposition news outlets in Ukraine, outlaws opposing political parties, raids churches and arrests priests? Exactly what democracy are those of you protecting?

*Why has Joe Biden, Alejandro Mayorkus, and Merrick Garland, not been impeached?

* Why is it more important for the US to fund border protection in foreign countries than protecting our own borders?

* The average annual salary for congress is $109,909. You maintain a residence in your home state and in Washington and travel in between. How did you become a multimillionaire?

I'm sorry T.L., but I'm beyond any hope that either party (if there is actually more than one) actually cares about anything other than their own power and accumulation of wealth to themselves. Some of them are outright traitors, most are closet communists and probably all are compromised in some way either by foreign or domestic security agencies. They don't care what the peasants say...as long as the donor class keeps sending money they'll keep doing as they are told.

As far as crypto, I don't trust the security state not to be able to compromise or shut it down. Better to take your bank withdrawals and buy physical gold and silver. When those are not available, then other goods that can be bartered.

fwiw, here's the list of institutions taking part in the FedNow pilot program - https://www.frbservices.org/financial-services/fednow/community/news/012521-announcing-pilot-program-participants.html FedNow is an interbank settlement system, and won't be available to retail customers, it's just a lot quicker than FedACH which is what they have now. See also https://www.frbservices.org/financial-services/national-settlement-service which is what is in place now.

I believe the answer to every question is the same. All of the representatives and senators

have been compromised to the hilt and are under threat of exposure or the murder of

themselves or their family members, and the bureaucracy that supports the former are subject

to the same threats. People say repeatedly that when they try to contact or question these

people they are stonewalled, ignored, or threatened (depending their status) or eliminated.

The idea of questioning or demanding anything is essentially useless. People that are benefiting

from the system won't balk or rock the boat. Despite the polls of % of peeps that don't agree

or complain about the agendas they have no influence whatsoever. Getting rid of the perps

is not possible because they are entrenched and locked in and elections (voting) doesn't

actually occur. And, please don't forget the stupid factor, (believers) or the dependent class,

that do not want the system changed because they draw their living for the status quo.
