Well, that was cheery! You and I know that you cannot withdraw. It is your destiny to remain engaged. The paradox of we "men who just want to be left alone" is that we are the very ones who cannot. And, try as we might, they will not let us, even though their only hope for success is if they did. See you on the ramparts!

No, of course not, this is a momentary pause to reflect and to redirect efforts, not to end any or abandon the fight, it's more like arriving at a plateau after clawing one's way uphill for a sustained period. I do not intend to ignore the rising landscape ahead, or camp out on my plateau for any sustained period.

A shipmate commented today on an email about how "we must right the ship". I love him dearly as we served together at a time when we still accepted the propaganda. He still does and believes we can all just vote our way out of this FUBAR mess on our laps. Hey, Shipmate... there's no righting this ship because there no longer IS a ship!

Its nice to meet another life-long trouble-maker, T.L. I was very good at it. Still am, to my wife's chagrin.

America is currently led by "globalist scum and their communist/Alinskyite brethren in the administrative state" intent on making us a hollowed out stump, but that's temporary. Your mood will improve in November. It's incumbent on we the troublemakers to focus our attention where it will be most effective. If we abdicate that responsibility, things will get worse. Government by the people shall not perish as long as there are enough good people to man the barricades. We know the targets. Fire for effect.

I think that was my gist, where will my attention be most effective? Potatoes or propaganda? I need to get some novels shaped up and put out there. Preservation of the culture through accurate portrayal is, in my mind, as important as any slugfest. I have screenplays and pilots that need to be more effectively marketed, too.

Hello dear T.L.,

I have a garden challenge as well. Drought NE WI. I can't barely keep up with my little

gardens, thank you God, I have electricity and a well.

I relate to you as I did in your book, "The Rebel". I had odd report cards, either an A or an F.

Teachers held titles in Germany, my birthplace, and my parents could not relate to the truth

I told them about the schizophrenic "teachers" I had. I was unable and unwilling to play good

student to those freaks. No examples required, you understand.

I have to get outdoors and work, and then I would like to compose a response to your article

that I just read. I believe it is brilliant in form and expression and I am brimming with

responses. TY, and TY too for helping me be patient and save my sanity.

Regards,

Suzanna

We're in NW Wisconsin and it's been dry here, too. We've been using the sprinkler in the garden, and so far it's doing well. Good luck with yours.
