We can't vote our way out, but we can't get out without votes. Replacing bad government is a crucial factor. That seems likely to begin in November. But voting isn't enough. The major error by our society has been complacency. We live well so we've become lazy. We assume the good times will continue because we're good people, and we think we deserve it. We don't. The world is full of bad people willing to take everything we have. Continued safety and prosperity requires constant vigilance. The closer, the better. Good government requires participation by good people. If not us, then who? The time to get started was yesterday. We've got some catching up to do.

Sometimes you can communicate a salient message through telling a story. Doesn't have to be a true story, just one that hits upon the important points one wishes to convey. So, I'm going to tell a story.

There was a mahout in India who oversaw and used a elephant pulling teak logs out of a forest. This particular mahout controlled his elephant not from love for the elephant but instilling fear in the elephant. It didn't begin that way. But over time as the mahout abused his elephant once in a while the abuse begin to grow. The mahout abused his elephant more and more until the abuse was constant. Fearful, the elephant endured the abuse, but resentment of the abuse began to grow in it's elephant brain. The elephant didn't realize that it was he, the elephant, that really had the power until one day the abuse became more than the elephant could tolerate. The elephant reached with it's trunk, grabbed that abusing mahout, and promptly stomped the mahout into the forest floor using its massive elephant feet. No one could pick out the mahout from the dirt when the elephant finished and its rage subsided. The elephant then trumpeted in triumph and walked off into the forest, free at last.

We are that elephant. It is us who has the real power, not that illegitimate abusing mahout. All we need to do is come to grips with that fact. Hopefully one day we will before we are all used up and abused to death.

You illustrate our current situation perfectly. It is quite the dilemma that we find ourselves in.

Truth is not complicated, it can easily be seen. It is the lie that needs a complicated system of thought in order to be justified. Solutions are much the same. Often we can see what needs doing, but we have complicated reasons for not doing it.

Just as the globalist plans of control necessitate depopulation, so also has our government grown too large to micromanage. There is a lot of talk about electing the right people and holding people accountable, as if this is not what we have been actively attempting to do throughout all recorded memory.

When is the last time anyone of any consequence has been held accountable? We would have to look mighty far back into time for that one. Was Janet Reno held accountable for the inexcusable Waco fiasco that burned men, women and children alive in ‘93? No. Were FBI snipers and Federal Marshalls held accountable for committing murder in the ‘92 ambush at the Weaver homestead? No. Attorney General William Barr personally saw to it that all involved had immunity. And it seems to me that William Barr is still involved in seeing that no one is held accountable for anything to this day. What about the Finicum family? Have they been able to get anyone to be held accountable for the ambush and murder of LaVoy by the US government? No. It is now 6 years later and they are still trying. What about Lois Lerner?, Erick Holder?, and all the myriad of other names and out of control agencies that we can think of? The list goes on. If we are to “hold feet to the fire”, then we will need a pretty big fire because there are a lot of frozen feet.

These are not complaints, these are just facts.

Washington is a cesspool, and adding buckets of pure water to it will not clean it up. The tree is corrupt and bearing bad fruit. Our system of government has been abandoned and we are told that it is legitimate because they say it is. Our founders told us that the form of government that they gave us would only work with a Godly people and their solution for correcting a tyrannical government had little to do with voting.

Of course events often transpire that enable the right thing to be done and as with the history of all nations, God gives and God takes away. One thing for certain, God’s axe will be laid to the root of every corrupt tree, one way or another.

So let all good men continue to do that which is within their power, whatever that may be. Tough times make for tough people and there seem to be a lot of tough times ahead.

Well done. All the comments on here are excellent. One of the things I've always liked best about running a blog is that the readers and commenters are often better than the original post.
