The way in which the United States is being openly maneuvered into the best position for it to be attacked is astounding. This is not just general treason to enrich oneself, to punish a system unsuited to one’s special talents that go unnoticed in a capitalist system, such as the remarkable poet who can’t make it their sole financial support, or the misunderstood choreographer who just wants to dance.
I’m not just talking about the clever wording they use when they say that “American” citizens are being rounded up and put in jail. That wording, as I pointed out a few weeks ago, means all Americans, South and Central Americans, too. That’s the clever communist wink and nod that they pat each other on the back for devising. It makes them feel smarter than all of those rubes who can’t see through it to their real intent.
I’m also talking about the call for service members to disobey orders from the Commander in Chief. Yes, they use the little “unlawful” orders. I’ve talked about this, too. When I was in the Air Force, the Squadron Commander, told us to shave off our mustaches, because they were ridiculous. We were about two weeks out of basic training and most of us 18 or 19 years old, so any mustache we had was bound to look ridiculous. That was an unlawful order and I didn’t obey it, because my mustache was within regulations and “ridiculous” didn’t change that fact.
The point of that, is that nearly everyone else quickly shaved their mustache off and felt like good little airmen for having done so. They failed the test of being able to tell what is and is not an “unlawful” order.
I don’t suspect that very many of those in the military now have any idea what an illegal order is. We were just a few years beyond My Lai and it was being drummed into our heads and most of them still failed to understand the distinction.
But what the Democrats are really doing is much more dangerous than simply instructing troops to know the difference and refuse to follow an illegal order, as vague of a concept as that can be. At least I had a regulation, had just studied the service manual thoroughly and was well-versed on the specific order that was illegal and why it was illegal. Troops in the field are conditioned to follow orders that are much less specific than to set fire to a hut and shoot anyone who comes out of it.
If one understands their history, that was not an uncommon tactic with either Indians, or our soldiers at a particular point in time, so it was not unknown as a military tactic of either side. That doesn’t make it right and if I were in command, I would want all available intelligence on who and what was in whatever boat I fired on. But, if the Commander in Chief has provided that information and those in the boat have been declared a terrorist organization, were known to be engaging in warfare on civilians through poisoned drugs, an act of unprovoked slaughter of American citizens, I could see the case for legality.
It’s not any different than the biological weapons that illegal aliens represent when they bring diseases long-conquered in the north into a society, especially schools, no longer immune to these long-conquered diseases. One can look at it through the empathetic lens if they choose to, but the effect is a biological attack.
“But, the druggies deserve it, they made a choice.” Stupidity does not equal consent. Taking any kind of drug, legal or illicit, without knowing what is in it or what effects it might have on the body is stupid, but being stupid does not mean that they had a choice. Only information can provide that choice and they aren’t getting it.
I would have believed, some time ago, that if military officers had any doubt as to the legality of the orders, they would refuse to comply, give their reasons and submit to imprisonment. That’s how you deal with an illegal order and you better be right, or your courts martial will not end well. But it will end in a courts martial, either way.
I faced this at an end-of-runway inspection. I disobeyed a direct order to pull chocks on a jet that legally and technically passed inspection, but the source of the oil leak could not be determined. If I’d known it was a seal, it would have been within regs, but if it were something broken, that’s a different story. I had to make that decisions with jets piling up in line and an officer screaming in my ear. Finally, I told him he’d have to jump the chocks and take full responsibility for the jet.
Turned out good for me, in that it was a cracked sight glass that could not be seen without dropping an engine panel. I know, I looked at that sight glass several times and couldn’t see the crack. I thought I was going to jail, because that’s how you resolve that issue and if I had been wrong, I would probably still be there, because if I had let it go, despite my belief that it should not fly, it would have cost a pilot’s life and a jet. They told me that. I probably would have been saved by following the regs, but I would not have worn that guilt well, because I knew better and I caved to pressure.
So, this idea of creating doubt in the minds of people who have to pull triggers, who have to uphold the safety of the men and women under their command with deadly force, is a cynical attempt to sacrifice lives to win political points, to blunt the authority of a president they detest.
I don’t know if Trump is wrong in firing on the boats. I don’t know what’s in the boats, who is in the boats, what their intent is, whether it’s all a sort of coordinated attack on the United States through a combination of psyop and false flags. I don’t know whether some politicians are bought off to raise a stink over it by cartels that need to keep that revenue stream open and are willing to sacrifice a few innocent people and their own cartel members to back the military off, or not. I doubt anyone does.
Without a declaration of terrorism, the attack of tainted drugs is no less serious and deadly than suicide bombers. Hundreds of thousands of NORTH Americans die every year from such chemical attacks. That they willingly put something into their body that they shouldn’t doesn’t relieve the guilt of those who poisoned it.
The war raging all around us is one of information, of words, of communication. There are casualties, but it’s harder to account for them and that’s one of the reasons it continues. This is the most dangerous time and most people are oblivious.

Here's a conundrum... what if an order that falls outside of what a court would determine to be legal is actually the correct action for the sake of saving lives, defeating an enemy, or even saving the Republic? I ask because I have reached the conclusion that our current judicial system (as it is) as well as our legislative system is wholly inadequate to address serious dangers to the nation in a timely manner nor nimble enough to take the required action to eliminate the danger in the face of what today is considered to be illegal/unconstitutional. Case in point, 100,000 Somali immigrants now wrecking Minneapolis or the islamic takeover of Dearborn. Islam is incompatible with the tenants of a constitutional republic. For the sake of the Republic they all must go... and quickly. But it would be illegal as such action would be stalled by accusations of it being unconstitutional and a violation of "rights". (They are bent on conquering, not assimilating. Why should they have "rights"?)
Sometimes there just needs to be a Charles Martel that rides to the rescue.
Howdy T.L! Good analysis. I had a discussion with a Marine friend a few days back. We both agree the specter of Civil War is looming, and let's pray it doesn't! But we really wanted to spend time to determine if we've arrived in a new generation of warfare. I think we have. Wars of words, cancel culture, vitriol, and proxy assassinations may be part of this new 5th generation Warfare (5GW). While many facets of 5GW have been around, with many being common threads in all wars, the way battles now being fought is different. I think an example of a weapon of 5GW is social media. Anyone can say as they choose behind the veil of the keyboard without accountability. The algorithms applied to posts are processed to enhance the power of words, and to focus attacks. If one has a large enough following, that person could order a killing, and some kid in social media land would act to carry out the killing. It's a new type of war. As my thoughts on what 5GW actually develop, thoughts from you and your loyal readers would be most welcome. Happy Thanksgiving to all y'all! Mac out!
