These skeevy bastards have for decades called normal Americans every name in the book and then some. Listen to them squeal and cry when they receive even the smallest measure of what they have been dishing out in return. Ask me if I care. And I'm done with politeness and restraint. One thing I do know with an absolute certainty: there's a reckoning and retribution coming. For that, I will shed not a tear.
The war on white males and white male competence has to be stopped. The H1B program is exactly that: hire foreigners for jobs which would have gone to white males, enabling them to be husbands, fathers, and participate in their communities.
I never trusted musk, but I haven't seen Donny call him out on calling us names if we have the temerity to disagree with flooding our country with indians. If any of you have ever worked with one of them, you will know that it is not a pleasant experience.
I worked with a lot of them in Saudi Arabia and the engineers were insufferable a lot of the time. Some of the others were okay, but I was always in a position of authority, so that dulled a lot of it.
Gabby Mouse, A family from India, owns Healdsburg Liquors. I have become good friends with this family. The son of the owner considers me as his uncle. They are very good people, kind, honest, and fair in business and friendship.
PS: As in the movie "Gran Tarino," like Walter Kowalski, I am closer to the family from India than my own.
We don't need one more foreign worker in the US, we actually do have enough STEM graduates to fill the jobs. Don't tell me we don't when our people have to train the incompetent indian replacements. If our people were so inept, then the indians would be training them.
I don't know anything or anyone in the H1-B visa program. What an odd name for a work visa. It's more data sorting by the government, my guess. Of course, the corporations are always looking for cheaper labor.
Henry Ford figured out, well, his Irish second-in-command did, that the Ford workers had to make enough money to buy the cars the workers built.
I can't remember the exact numbers, but the Irishman executive officer wanted X/hr. Ford settled on X-35%/hr or so. It was still a good wage but brutal work in the Ford factory.
Now, the Fed and banks create the debt so Americans can buy or lease the cars. Add in the auto insurance and license fees. Only the rich will be able to afford cars.
I can't keep up with all the attacks that the left is making on me. Prices go up and up. Liberty goes down and down. War hangs over our heads, bird flu, food issues, high utility prices, fuel prices, taxes, regulations... I can't keep up with it all.
Pfizer is still promoting its Vaxx Poison in TV ads.
The postal service is terrible. It took three weeks for a Christmas card to go from our home in CA to Maine.
Trump has a track record. His first term had two kinds of policy - the declaratory policy, which he announced in speeches, tweets, and pressers - and the actual policy which came from his cabinet choices. And what happened was that the people who enacted his actual policy totally sabotaged his declaratory policy. People are beginning to see a repeat of this. Clearly, H1-B visa imports won't make *America* or *Americans* great again - and the imports tend - especially those from India - to advantage their own ethnicity. Indians hire other Indians, and that's it, if you're not from India, you're not in the club. And that *will* set up conflict - and has in the recent past.
MAGA hopefully is more than just a slogan to Trump, useful to him to get power. If his choices - like Musk and Ramaswamy - are any indication, it's just more declaratory policy to be subsumed and sabotaged by his actual policy. The "tech bros" want H1-B people for cheap labor which can be easily exploited, worked to the bone, and then discarded - that's how they make their billions. They don't care about MAGA, either, and the cheap labor they get is roughly worth what they pay for. I've seen this firsthand, doing neural nets research - a weekend of work to get a solid result versus three years of going nowhere - and crap code to boot. But the short-term benefit is greater, at least so far as the bottom line is concerned - and that's all the "tech bros" care about. They're apatriotic and amoral, their only loyalty is to the increase of their assets, just like an alcoholic's loyalty to drink. They know no country, only their portfolio. If the US is to become a nation again, those types have to go to the side of the road, otherwise it's just more self-interested sabotage - and we've seen this before.
Well said. The first time around, I gave Trump a little leeway, because he didn't know who to trust in government and thought that an R by someone's name meant something and got suckered into a lot of horrible choices. He's made a lot of attempts to avoid that this time around, but Elon and Vivek simply chose the stronger horse, they don't care. Trump needs to put them on their purpose, which is DOGE, not to get into these squabbles with his supporters. Eighty percent of them do not support H1B visas. This will be a challenge for him out of the box, but he risks everything to stick with Elon over this.
My two younger sons work in the tech world. EE & CS degrees. I have heard from both very similar takes as
What Stream of fourtyseven wrote. I also have a nephew that our family adopted as an infant who is ethnicly indian but is american to his bones.
( i offered to take him to india after he graduated high school)
" No thanks uncle, I don't ever want to see that street shitting hell hole" lol. He's in tech as welll & uses the fact he is ethnicly indian to squeeze these companies and especally when dealing with microsoft now that it is an indian ran & doninated company. With all that said we do need to straighten out our educational system as its full of degenerstes, communists and all sorts of idiocy. I don't disagree with most of what Ramaswami was saynig. Brutal truth stings
Like hell but the truth is the public education system needs a top to bottom cleansing and if America gives a damn about kids and the future then Americans need to hear that.
None of the actions that those of us who I will call "Patriots" has happened yet because Trump has yet to be sworn in... if he is. I think Trump has tipped his hand too much regarding all that he intends to do on the first day, which allows the Globalist/Luciferians to plan their defense/offense to thwart Trump's agenda. It also isn't helpful stirring the hornets nest by talk of taking back the Panama Canal, making Canada the 51 state, and this H1-B mess. As a true native of this land I very much resent Must insinuating that I am a racist for not supporting that visa program. Musk should STFU about it. He is spending a lot of his credibility over the issue, especially shadow banning those on 'X' who speak out against H1-B. (Thought Musk was a free speech guy!)
I'm neither an optimist nor a pessimist. I consider myself to be a pragmatist. I have been a keen observer of what has gone before in actions rather than words and promises. I feel we will be a bit disappointed on how things will shake out in the near future.
I'm watching this. I think the backlash from those comments are going to be significant and make it difficult for Musk to navigate either in congress or X. Sometimes it takes something like this to teach some humility. What is going to happen directly, I think is more important. This will expose how many perfectly qualified Americans have been denied jobs in favor of using the H1-B visa holders. That's not a good look for Musk or Trump.
I think he is "going big" publicly to keep the support base activated in case it is needed to get him through the inauguration process and initiating his agenda. Expect no calm period. Also, he is a narcissist.

Musk's comments

indicate we should shut up and respect our betters, or he will "go to war, the likes of which [we] cannot comprehend".
Oh yeah?

Is anyone surprised that Trump is already going tone deaf to his voting bloc?
He should have already reminded Musk and the Indian he asked them to work on government waste not immigration policy.
Vance should be concerned if he wants to have that voting bloc intact in four years.
The American people have provided a lot of cover for Trump, if this is the issue he wants, it will cost him more than he can imagine.
I’ve read and agree with multiple people who have said all those Indian coders can work from India just as well as everyone did during Plandemic.

It’s that sunrise in the wrong place that concerns me now.
Yet, there isn't much being written about it.
Me too it's almost hard to imagine that lunitics are actually running the country.
These demons need to be exposed and then strung up, after a fair trial. SOBs taking that kind of chance do not deserve to live.

Diging the hole deeper aint showing it.
These "mask slip moments" are pure gold
